It's not a bad thing, really. It can be a whole lot worse if you wait and then get it when you're older and have kids of your own. Best to get it over with early.

Were you vaccinated, though?

Yeah they do. It's existed for years, IIRC.

Yeah, it came out in '95. That's why there's really very few cases of chicken pox in this current generation of children.
It's quickly going the way of polio.

Quick question folks. What should I get? Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games or Super Mario Land 3d?

I would say Mario 3D Land. But I'm never a big fan of mini games.

I only know one person who was ever home schooled, my ex's younger brother, and he is incredibly socially awkward. I had thought that would've been a universal side-effect, but you seem normal enough. |

Yep. I sure did, it's still sealed though along with my 3DS, because I'm pondering to wait till the 20th of this month when the new Midnight Purple color debuts. Plus, I know this sounds silly.....but I'm waiting for my full body protector arrives from Zagg.com. Shoot me a PM with your friend code & as soon I have everything up, we'll play a match.

Had a interview today, might get a job within 3 weeks on base at Troop Center Store aka Convenience Store. If so, it's 4pm-12 ish Mon-Fri, so I'll have to drop my Art Appreciation class.
I probably won't post much on the hype due to that job if I get it, taking a class or two at Community and this bombshell... Looks like I WILL be a volunteer for the Gary Johnson Campaign afterall in North Carolina. For those that don't know, he's the Libertarian Nominee for President. I've been in talks with the State Director of he campaign, suppose to get a call soon. I imagine I'll just do Facebook, Twitter and probably Reddit stuff and e-mails. Busy, busy busy hopefully. And yes, I'll still watch my General Hospital...probably not much else though on tv or Hulu though if I am doing all three or two out of three.

Swagbucks figured out our reloading game! I'm pissed! They sent out a mass message saying that it's illegal to have browser add-ons that let you refresh videos on the Swagbucks tv. I wonder what punk ass bastard snitched.

What is a Swagbucks? Sounds like a ghetto YouTube, which I thought was Dailymotion.

Okay, I'm going to be very thorough with this one. I get asked that question a lot, so I've really thought about it a lot... I didn't go to a day of school. I loved it as a kid. I never had to wake up early. Learning was a lot easier, I think, then if I were in school as I could go at my own pace and learn about what interests me. Socially, I'm pretty normal. I mean, I think I'm just kinda reclusive by nature, but I have a lot of friends from work and we go out every couple weeks, and I have no problem putting myself out there and whatnot. My job is also very team and people oriented, and I've become very outspoken and collaborative there. My skills dating/picking up women are probably pretty terrible. I could never just go up and hit on a woman, it's like speaking another language, and something about it bothers me. But I've had consistent girlfriends since I was about 16 or so, so I haven't made out badly there either. Looking back, I do wish I had gotten more socialization as a kid. I mean, I definitely had some anxieties (but, at the same time, I see kids in school who have it much worse than I ever did), and I feel like I missed out on some of the normal camaraderie of growing up. But I wouldn't blame that on home schooling, it was just from my personal situation that kinda limited it. But overall, I like it. I'd reccomend it and do it with my kids if I'm able to. Not to sound ungodly pretentious, but I do think me and my sister were and are more mature than most people are age due to having socialized primarily with adults from a young age..and we were never really exposed to all of the stupid/illegal stuff that teenagers often get into. There you go.
