In that case, the casting department really dropped the ball. With a few excpetions, that group of individuals is just one big fail.

Ill second the thank god for no Colton.

Not a bad selection for returning players, could have been a lot worse.

:
Jonathan was originally on Survivor Cook Islands then he came back for Fans vs Favorites where he got taken out because his knee got infected from an injury.

He was also the idiot who switched tribes when offered even though he had no real allies on the other tribe.

Didn't even realize it was on until 25 minutes after it started. Can't say any of the tribes really strike me as dominant or standing out in any way. Skupin could be a force if they don't vote him off right away though.

As for the tribal council, I'm very glad that a tribe finally showed some semblance of intelligence and didn't vote off their physically strongest member, even though he did act like an idiot.

Looks like it could be a good season. The small tribe format really forces everyone to start playing. I like that they aren't just worshipping the returnees like they sometimes do. OK, Skupin's got in the majority alliance, but he's still an obvious 4th there.

That said, I do hope Penner isn't the first one off his tribe. We need him to stick around to make things interesting. He makes big moves, gives great confessionals, and talks **** to Probst...what more could you ask for in a contestant?

Im really liking this season, the new players are coming of as smart individuals who understand the game while the returning players are all enjoyable but very different in their approach.

Im guessing that the three tribes thing will last at most another tribal or two. It would make sense to shake things up after the next tribal since you would get two tribes of eight and the new dynamic that would create could really help the returning players. Another reason that I thing they will merge into two soon is that with three tribes it's hard to get proper attention for all three tribes. It worked in the premier because it was extra long but with only 40 minutes to play with it could get crowded.

I'm surprised they didn't vote off the blonde with the boob job. usually the good looking women get dumped first.

Well "Roxy" started acting all weird. Out of the two I think she was the more useless (though both seem to be useless..).

I am glad she went.. as she started doing the whole shaking of the head and rolling of the eyes "oh no you didn't" type of attitude. (I do not know how to put it without getting myself into trouble lol)

I thought for a while she would be a normal acting person, but...

(To me it seemed like she was Jealous of the blonde)

Roxy was right in that "couples" are definitely a threat, but this early in the game, dealing with a potential alliance later on down the road gets trumped by someone who admits to not wanting to work in camp and doesn't prepare for challenges.

Oh and Dugath, the words you're looking for are "she went ghetto!".

What are the odds on Skupin losing a limb before he finishes the game?

I'm really liking this season so far, though.

Another good episode. I think the tribe made the right call in getting rid of Roxy, the blonde might be equally useless but at least she isn't much of a threat gameplay wise.

Im always surprised when people get all worked up about two people seemingly working together this early in the game since two people are never a majority unless there are only three people left. At this point in the game it should always be about keeping the tribe strong and avoiding going to tribal in the first place.

Kudos to Penner for figuring out the idol, he definitely needs it to stay in the game past his tribes first tribal. Unless of course they end up merging the three tribes into two in the next episode though I didn't see anything to hint at it in the "next time on".

Angle is very easy on the eyes, but I was surprised by how hot Lisa (aka Blair) still is.

Angle did give one of the dumbest responses ever (Cookies), but Roxy seemed to be on everyone's last nerve. Even Russell voted against her.

I think that Russell just realised that Roxy was going and didn't want to go against the majority and paint an even bigger target on his back.

Angle really did give a horrible answer though I think she was just saying something random in order to not irritate anyone (at least for her sake I hope so ). Personally I would have given a non answer such as "Start winning challenges".

Yeah, Probst was trying to stir up drama like he always does, so she just gave him a cop out answer...which obviously pissed him off.

I really like the blue tribe. I wish they weren't so useless.

I hope so, for her sake. I would have also gone for "would have been been better if we were winning challenges".

I don't really know if this season is going to be good or not. I hated One World, so I hope this is going to be better but I don't have a favorite yet.

Christ, Russell's tribe is getting obliviated. It's not even funny, it's just sad.

What's worse for me is that they're not a stupid tribe. What I mean is at tribal they're making all the right decisions with who to vote out and saying the things we want to hear (i.e. not sugar coating things and telling people they're screwing up).

Hopefully with just the three of them, they can start to turn the tables a little before there's a merge because if a merge happens soon, they're all doomed anyway as the "odd man out" on whichever tribes they go to.

All that being said, Malcolm and Denise are badasses when it comes to the challenges.

They are a somewhat dysfunctional tribe. It showed especially in the first episode's challenge.
