I think they should have in the future some villians survive and return in sequels. A villian who is similar to Red Grant should be in sequels.

Saw the trailer and read through the previous thread...

Craig fanboys? lol you serious? MY fav Bond will always be Sean Connery but I quite like Craig. Todays Bond is different..even I wish there was a tiny bit more humor and id love alittle more ''Bond music'' used..but I literally would hate it going back to its old ways 100%. It'd feel so out of place and out of date/time. Times change and styles do to, if you really like Goldeneye or whatever one..watch it. This is different. I will agree QOS felt very unlike Bond, but CR felt like perfect new-school Bond.

I heard abit of the Bond theme in the teaser so I hope its used in the film and IF it has the same level of humor as MI4..then i'll be happy!

Craig's reaction to ''Skyfall?" was absolute perfection. So subtle. I hope they use that take in the final cut. Bardem walking away from the fire looked TOTALLY badass.

I too can't wait to see how they play q this go around. Should be interesting to see what the role is. As for quatum I would love if they have a connection to the film. We don't need to see quautum at all. But just have a nod/refrence would do for me.

^ Thought this was a stand alone film, meaning they would ignore the events of Casino Royale and QOS? Or just not being a direct sequel to QOS. I'm thinking its just not a direct sequel to QOS but I'm not sure.

Trailer is a decent peek, can't wait for a more fleshed out trailer. I wish the Bond theme was more prominent.. do not care for that electronic crap at the end. The theme remix from the Casino Royale trailer is still perfect.

Even if it is a standalone film. Like I said a nod/frence to quatum or say mr. White getting away. Wouldnt kill the stand alone story of this film.

Take for example a refrence/nod to quatum group they could do is this, we see m on her computer in office and we see on her screen a message about quatum on her screen. Or another m in her office again and on phone with some superior and they do a throw away like about the search for quatum in still on going.

Just watched the 1080p version, it looks just excellent. Some of the finest digital photography I've seen. So clear and detailed but without ever feeling shallow.

The thing is, they shot a scene were they got rid of Mr. White. There had to be a reason why it was cut and has still not been shown.

They've given reason why it was cut but I'm drawing a blank at the moment. I'm sure you could find it somewhere.

Skyfall lodge attack by Silva, near the end of the movie, is that it reverses the usual routine. Bond usually takes on the villain's lair, here Silva takes on Bond's 'lair'.

Mr. White is such a one note character that if they don't ever mention him again, it wouldn't matter. He worked in Casino Royale, but was wasted in QoS.

It's a pretty big deal that he's still on the loose, they made a point to show that in the opera scene. I think they did a pretty good job showing how slippery he was and how much low cunning he possessed.

That said the actor who played him doesn't want to return, so I imagine if they do revisit Quantum they'll probably just re-use the alternate ending from QoS as an opener.
