Default The Video Game Deals Thread

I used to post on Cheap Ass Gamer, but I've gotten tired of that place. There seems to be more and more pompous *****. You guys though? You guys are cool.

So I thought why not start our own deals thread? It's simple, come across a cheap game, post it up here.

For example today I found out that "Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL" is now only $19.96 on Amazon. From what I hear, it's a decent Smash Bros. clone featuring classic Cartoon Network characters.

So if you come across something, share it with the rest. There might be someone out there looking for that game on the cheap.

Yeah I think so. I think as long as it's not something obscure like "I found NBA 2K11 on the clearance rack of my local Piggly Wiggly" then it'd be okay.

If you have a Fry's near you, Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition is down to $19.99 which is half off.

I just got steam a few months ago. awesome service. unfortunately the games I can get are limited due to the fact I own a Mac that's like 6 years old. I did snag KOTOR and Jedi Outcast II tho. Got both for like 10 bux

I've always wanted to go to Walmart on Black Friday because they do offer some interesting sales...but I don't want to die a horrible death.

I'm considering picking up one of the $200 Vital sales, but I'm not sure if I should hold back a little longer and see if there's a price drop coming.

Fantastic. Nothing I really want today, but I inevitably wind up buying something.

Sleeping Dogs is currently on sale at Amazon for $25. That was basically the only game I was trying to keep on eye out for.

Got Max Payne 3 and 007 Legends for 40 bucks together for PS3 (along with some cheap blu rays and a LG blu ray player for the folks).

I'm thinking about checking out Walmart BF sales. I hate messing with the crowds, but getting Borderlands 2, and Transformers Fall of Cybertron for $25 each is hard to pass up. I have a few other places to go later today, so not sure if there will be any left by the time I get there though. Also the Playstation store has some BF deals going on too. Nothing I wanted, but there was advertisments saying 66% off certain items. Sega seems to have cut a few of their games prices in half for today on there.

You could have gotten them yesterday, before BF

Two thingamajigs I came across:

The big one - Apparently in-store Target is selling ($20) 1600 MS points for $10!

ME3 Leviathan on the Xbox is on sale for half off.

I ended up getting Skyrim for $25 yeaterday morning on Amazon. I was going to buy Dead Island for $8 at Best Buy, but it was all sold out online. I got Assassin's Creed: Revelations for $8, but it's going to be a while until I play it since I'm still in the middle of Brotherhood. lol There is a deal on Newegg for Dead Island for $10, but it's just for the regular version of the game. I'm going to hold off on it for now and see if there are more specials on it to come. The Game of the Year edition is what I'd rather have, and I bet there will be some Cyber Monday or Christmas deals coming up soon for it.

Just ordered Forza Horizon off of the Microsoft Store for $14.99. I saw the deal yesterday but it was sold out, I guess they put it back up again today.
