FWIW I think the trailer was a good showcase for both Catwoman and Bane. I think the GA (and even myself) reacted more to Catwoman and Anne though if we're going by Twitter reactions and all that.

I agree. And by the way I don't have any problem with people being more excited for one of the characters but it doesn't have to be a competition. I love Hardy and I'm sure he is going to do a fantastic job and I love Hathaway and I'm sure that she is going to do a good job too. So far I've loved the footage of both of them.

Hardy is playing the proper villain of the piece so I could understand why one would be more excited about his role. I'm in the Catwoman thread way more than the Bane thread so obviously there is some preference going on...I still think that both will do a good job though.

I agree completely. I've been told that outside of these forums, Hardy is getting as much praise as Annie is, maybe even more so in some instances. Though I only tend to come here for TDKR related stuff, and if you were to compare the threads of the two, you'd think Bane has a role the size of the flaffel guy, lol.

But in all, I'm looking forward to both of their performances and characters as I love both the actors/actresses. I just hope there is some good interaction between the two, because I feel the two have the potential to be dynamite on screen together.

I would actually say that her looks are underrated, I remember mentioning Anne's name in the casting threads before we even knew Selina would be in the movie and people dismissed her calling her butter and horse faced, alright in the looks department but not anything special. And even after she was cast it still took awhile before people warmed up to her looks so I dont know what you're talking about.

And I like Jessica Biel but shes more She-Hulk or Wonder Woman than Catwoman.

I think she easily could in a very cool but not-forced way. Especially since everyone in these films is so uber-serious or is carrying the weight of the world. A rogue character element, kind of street-smarting their way through the story can be like the Han Solo of these stories.

I also hope to see some shots from the apple scene (I like how Selina looks there) and the maid scene. We saw some descriptions and a couple of photos, hope we will get them in future TV spots.
