I thought originally in Emperor Stark that maybe Vision imagined the whole scenario and that 30 days hadn't really passed, but that he was still in sleep/repair mode and something had gone wrong with his programming and caused him to have these vivid hallucinations. I was imagining scenarios like in Star Trek Voyager and Seven-of-Nine with her regeneration cycle. I thought that at the end Tony would be working desperately to try to revive Vision as an element in his programming (perhaps planted by Ultron) might be trying to deceive him into permanently shutting down.

But the plot turned out much simpler than that.

your scenario is much better and works for me...

so how come you're not working for the Marvel animated department?...

Is it me, or is the dialogue in "Winter Soldier" and "Deadliest Man Alive" getting a bit cheesy? I was cringing whenever Capt. America spoke half the time.

I thought his "I'm full of surprises" was pure and simple OOC. The smarmy way he said it.

Emperor Stark was okay. Purple Man's power is simple but I have always thought him interesting. I look at Code Red and Winter Soldier as one episode. Rulk/Thor battle was good and together the eps. were great, imho. Captain America can read the dictionary and inspire me; he is phenomenal. I think his "Cheesy" dialogue is kind of fun because he is still a man of the 40s, regardless of how better acclimated he is to present day.

Deadliest Man Alive was pretty okay. I have never liked Rulk, but I haven't hated him either. Comic Rulk now is much better than his introduction and I think the same could have been said for EMH Rulk if we got a third season which obviously isn't happening. Oh well. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Most of us still feel your pain Hawkingbird. Hopefully MoA got all the kinks out in Powerless and they won't throw us a Crapsicle between now and the end of the series..That way we can at least enjoy it and can say even after the switch up, they didn't Totally ruin it.

The episodes from after "Powerless" that I've seen (I'm up to "Code Red") have actually been pretty good. And MoA hasn't actually done all of the writing (probably why it's maintained some quality).

yeah, it seems after the'switch' they literally switch off between yost,yost/fine, and MoA.

everything from MoA after powerless has been real real solid. I am just hoping it stays that way. The last thing I want is for them to lay an egg on one of the final episodes of the series.

gotta say, the eps HAVE been remarkably BETTER than what I thought they'd be with MoA as creative consultants and occasional writers...

who'da thunk?

I think people were worried that the reigns would be totally given over to the MoA team, who would, as they always do, phone it in. Since that isn't how the process has actually gone, it's stayed good. At the very least, we're getting a dignified final stretch.

now if the same quality and dignity can be maintained with the Assemble cartoon, then I'll be happy...

That's the real story. MoA is going to have full reign over entire show, are they not?

That is where the worry will come. If the first- say 5 or 6 episodes- are really solid (along the lines of anything other than powerless from this show) how will the quality fare as the season progresses from 7-13 so on and so forth. Like Bored said, hopefulyl they don't 'phone it in' halfway through as it seems they do because they either don't care, are tired from such a long season, whatever the excuse may be.

From the synopsis of the next episodes it seams that the last three might actually be a three parter just like last season.

What do you guys think?

I wish those mini-synopsis' would tell you who wrote them. Based off wats above, it seems pretty clear Surtur was the way Yost/Fine wanted to go and MoA scrapped it.

Yeah probably or they wanted to lead to that in season three, as season two is a cosmic season.
