Wait, I did see a website that said the cancelation was a hoax though? I know it's not looking good but is there any hope?

Well I just watched the finale. Awesome episode and several people got to shine. Who was that character who put out those circular waves of energy though? And when did she appear before? Also, where was Mockingbird and Nick Fury? I was expecting to see them. I think maybe "Avengers Assemble" should've been a 2-part episode given the magnitude of the storyline.

I'm sad to see the show go. I think it was easily on par with Justice League and definitely one of the best cartoons. 2 seasons is a good run but it all went so quickly. I think this will be the best Avengers cartoon we'll ever get.

I'm sorry we never got to see the likes of She-Hulk, Starfox, Black Knight, or even Wonder Man joining the Avengers. There are lots of storylines I would've liked to have seen.

if you're talking about one of Galactus' heralds, that would be Stardust... an energy-being of some kind...

She looked like she was on the side of the Avengers though, and she had a dark blue uniform and shortish hair. She was definitely not an energy being but looked human.

so far the only female with shortish hair and a blue uniform that I see is Sue Richards, but I'll keep on looking...

I don't remember seeing her before. Why should she show up and not Mockingbird, who is an actual Avenger in the comics? Sure, she probably has more powers, but at least have Miss Morse as well.

when nick fury was underground trying to deal with the skrull invsion, he had her, mockingbird and black widow with him. erm its the 'who do you trust' episode I think, she gets the griffon guy to attack the avengers so they can nab tony for their 'meeting' with fury =)

don't know why mocking bird wasn't called up, she was rescued after the skrull invasion so... yeah a bit of a mystery...

It was Quake, Agent Daisy Johnson. She was one of Nick Fury's Secret Warriors.

There were enough "Hulks" running around to be honest.

Ok thanks. Quake seems such an obscure choice to have. I thought I read somewhere that Mockingbird was going to be added to the Avengers ranks this season anyway.

wow, I just calculated it...

if DizXD continues to air the remainder of the episodes without taking any break of any sort, the final episode will be shown around October 28th...

thank you so much internet... thank you so much Oztralia...

There were enough hot and sexy females in the show, no need for a big green one.

Having watch the complete second half of season 2 all the way to the series finale, My hats off to the team at Marvel for given us two awesome seasons of an epic series that is right up with the 90's X-men & Spider-Man series. I seriously think that not renewing this series in favor of a series connected to Ultimate Spider-Man is a huge mistake that going to cost them in the long run if it shows in the ratings.

Well if the new series doesn't work out, can't they create a third season for this show? It's not like they couldn't go back to this well. The series finale left it open enough that more stories could continue if they wanted.

Unlikely. Realistically, they'd just start up yet another new show. I will say, I quite like that the Avengers are popular enough now that they can sustain that sort of thing as a brand (as Spider-Man, the X-Men and the FF have done for years).

I think it was pretty easy to tell the final episode was a rush-job. No build up (other than a mention of the big G by the skrull), no nothing. But, it was still a solid episode. 3 appearances by SM were better than all 11 eps. thus far of that other show.

Well first its sad emh is over now for oz folks. But for us ones who haven't see the oz aired oned we have months to go. But the final 4 episodes where pretty dam good. Loved the new avengers episode. Liked spidey saving the day there and the new avengers group learning to work together.

The two part kree episode was also very solid. Good action/story and drama. Also some nice character development moments in them.

And final episode with galactus was also pretty good. Like I said in the other emh thread wish galactus was mmute. But overall a solid episode and good ending for emh.

I didn't get that feeling at my first viewing since basically the arc of the season according to Yost was meant to be a cosmic season overall so Galactus debut seemed to fit just perfectly. However I think because they knew they weren't going to be renewed for a third season which I believe would've been the magic season therefore the threat would probably be Surtur attempting to destroy both Asgard and Earth which probably would've been the reason for recruiting Scarlet Witch to the rosters of The Avengers.
