The Man of Steel (2013)
The Amazonian Princess, or something like that? Or should they just go with Wonder Woman? (winter 2014)
The Scarlet Speedster/Lightning or just Flash/The Flash? (spring 2015)
Green Lantern reboot or indirect sequel (The Emerald Guardian/The Green Guardian/The Emerald Crusader?) (winter 2015)
Justice League (Spring/Summer 2016)
Batman: Gotham's Crusader, The Caped Crusader (spring 2017)

I think it would be best if the movies are named after the superhero names so people will see the film and not think its some random film.

My line up would be: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Martian Manhunter and lastly either Hawkman or Aquaman. The Seventh member for me is a tricky one because it could be nearly anyone.

How is Wonder Woman the "token girl" when she's apart of the Big 3/Trinity?

Because she's the only female in the original lineup..?

But I think we mostly agree on the first movie lineup, shall we discuss sequels? My top picks are Aquaman and MM if they aren't in the first one followed by Green Arrow, Black Canary, Atom, Steel, and Plastic Man (for the lulz)

When you use the word "token" you're implying that she's there to fill up some sort of quota, when she's the top 3 most important and well known Justice League member.

I'd rather a smaller League, like Supes/Bats/WW/GL/Flash over a seven-member league. More time for character development, more money for each character's effects, etc. MM and Aquaman can't be tacked on the way Hawkeye and Black Widow could be; they're inherently much more expensive and require much more backstory.

Yessss. It's true that Aquaman & Martian Manhunter can be quite expensive. They're very mysterious and supernatural, they need an expensive backstory. Which might never happen but if it does, you cant exactly half-ass it by treating them like Hawkeye/Widow. They're not just assassins for hire that's it.

My ideal line up would be:
Supes
Bats
Wondy
GL (Hal Jordan)
Flash (Wally West)
Aquaman
J'onn

But I know Wally wont happen so Flash in general would be fine. I dont think 7 is too much at all, but please no Cyborg

I second no Cyborg, that's one lineup I most certainly do not want to see - Cyborg as #7. I have no problem with the character, but just not for Justice League. And I know they'll make him into something he's not if included in a live action Justice League film. If they must have seven members but don't want Aquaman or MM, characters like Hawkman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, or even the Atom would do just fine in their places. But we can probably count on Green Arrow not showing up either a) thanks to the TV show and b) Hawkeye

Was it ever said why DC is deciding to push Cyborg so much after the new 52?

'Cuz he's black. DC is trying to promote their minority characters.

If they think 7 is too much, just bench Aquaman and everything's fine, imo.

I really think they should add Aquaman to the film. I dont see why people really want him benched

Speaking for myself, it's two reasons: 1) Screen time; 2) His backstory and powers take some explanation, which of course leads back to #1.

I like him as a character, I really do. But with (at least) an Amazonian, an intergalactic peacekeeper, a straight-up alien, a billionaire with future-tech, and a man who gets super speed from being struck by lightning, it would be hard to also squeeze in an entire underwater civilization, in my humble opinion.

I dont see how it's any harder to reference Atlantis than THemyscara or The GL Corps

I would think that Atlantis would/should have a bigger part than a mention. I like Aquaman, so I'd like to see him introduced in a way that doesn't feel forced. If the story began with an attack on Atlantis, then moved to the surface, I'd like that. If it's a space adventure that does makes him seem like a fish out of water (pun fully intended), then I'd prefer that they wait to introduce him.

IMO, it's about explaining (not just referencing) Atlantis in addition to Themyscara, GL Corps, Krypton, etc. You can't just tack him on the way you could Hawkeye or Black Widow, for example. Batman, Superman and even to a smaller extent, GL have some exposure and thus the GA really just needs to be reminded of their backstories, as opposed to being introduced from scratch.

For me, it's really more about budget and screen time. Atlantis/Aquman's powers would be expensive if you want them to look good. Plus, with at least 5 other members (most likely), it would be awfully tough to give Aquaman any sort of dimension as a character.

All just my opinion, but I think pretty valid concerns.
