Starts off with Lex & Otis. Otis reminding Lex about his appointments of the day. He's meeting with a representative of Waynetech. Not sure if that's supposed to be Bruce or somebody else.

Back to the basement of the DP where we get to see Jeff the intern pondering about Clark's puppy eyes and his secrets. Lois arrives and is surprised to see only Jeff there, but everyone is busy with Superman stories.

Meanwhile in town some thug wearing a Lexcorp teleporter vest takes a schoolbus with children hostage which is suspended in the air by a crane. Superman saves the kids (not really since he left them suspended in mid air with a bomb on board lol), and now he's either going for Lex or getting that bus down from there.

Thanks sounds like an awesome chapter. Heard on BQM's twitter next week we'll see if we get Bruce Wayne, the billionaire playboy/drunken idiot or Bruce Wayne, the shrewd buisnessman c.e.o. of WayneTech.

Yup. Dan, Maggie, and Jeff. The Lois and Jeff scene is pretty humorous.

And also as great as Clark/Supes like Welling in these issues, I feel the Lex art has taken a step back and he's looking less like Rosey than I remember.

Wow looks like we have a fight on our hands. Read on BQM's twitter that Bruce Wayne is a cross of Benjamin Bratt and Simon Baker(the mentalist) and he said he's between Oliver and Lex's age(late 20-early 30s). But yeah it's impressive. So what happened in today's chapter. Looks like Bruce and Barbara come to Smallville and Batman and Superman are about to throw down.

Bruce looks quite a bit older than Oliver and Lex.


P.S After looking at the pic above I'm not sure who could play Smallville Bruce Wayne in live action.

I was thinking of that guy rom Friuday th 13th: The Final Chapter, but that would've made him older. The next possible cadidate is this guy:







Jon Tenney, best known for The Closer. Sure he's 51 now, but Bruce does look older, and I wouldn't be surprised if "older" is one of more DKR elements coming.

In that last panel you can say Clark looks to be in his 40s too lol. I guess that's just the way the artist draws them. Looks so much different cuz Pere Perez(Guardian) always draws his characters very youthful-looking. To me that's why Lex looked a bit odd sometimes in the first episode. Here I find the art to be 50/50. Sometimes it's great, especially when he draws Clark's face close, he looks exactly like Tom, then other times not so great to say the least. That panel this issue when Superman was floating above Bruce and Lex in the Ace of Clubs, he looked like some action figure.

I thout Bruce looked just like Benjamin Bratt. So it was no shock when BQM said he was (in part).

Great issue. Awesome writing. But I miss Perez.

This was definitely a nice issue. I wish Bruce wasn't "casted" to be a little old. However, I was definitely happy to see that Batman's rogue's gallery is also well established in the Smallville-verse.



So does anyone know who "plays" Barbra?

sounds like a sweet pics of bruce/barabra. And some details on what happened in the chapter. As for art doesn't seem bad. But I would have to see more from this artist. Also why did prez leave?

I want Perez. He nailed Rosenbaum. The new guy's Lex isn't Rosenbaum at all. And everyone touches their faces.
