So all Bruce has to do is lay a trail of candy to defeat March. How'd the worlds greatest detective miss that?

YES!!!!!
While I am not happy about it I'll take it. You just got to remember Smallville is Smallville and that's it. If you expect more out of it you'll be disappointed. So take it at face value as what you see is what you'll get.

So I've decided to drop some books...

-Action Comics
-Superman
-Catwoman
-Batgirl
-Nightwing
-Batman, INC (Although I'll get the graphic novel)

So my pull list is now:

-Batman
-Detective Comics
-Batman and Robin
-Batman: The Dark Knight (this new writer deserves a chance)
-Batwoman
-Batman Beyond: Unlimited
-Justice League
-Young Justice.

Justice League, Detective Comics and The Dark Knight will be on the fence for the next for months. My attention was simply spread too thin and I was spending my money on comics of questionable quality.

I'm a Batman guy and I think I'll keep it that way.

I'm thinking about dropping Action as well. I just don't really care about a young Superman. And that costume blows.

I personally can't fathom why you'd drop INC but keep buying 'tec. Different strokes as they say I guess. I know that I've really really tried to give 'tec a break since issue 1 cause I know a newbie to the comic collecting hobby that buys it but I can't make it through the whole issue each time. Last week's issue was especially boring. Daniel keeps improving as a penciler though such a shame his scripts are so damn lackluster. I may give Hurwitz' TDK a try.

Oh and how has Nightwing fared lately? I stopped buying after issue 4. Being that I'm such a Grayson fan it felt wrong to drop it but I just really hated how regressed he seemed to be in those issues.

I'm not as in love with Morrison as many others are... and I personally think his Batman run, as epic as it was, went on for far too long. I just don't have the desire to jump back into his world on a monthly basis again.

Like I said I'll definitely get the collections as they come out.

As for Detective... yeah your right, but I haven't missed an issue since I was 13 nine years ago and I'd really hate to drop it. If nothing else at least the art is nice to look at. However if Daniels is in it for the long haul... then I'll cut my losses.

Very much middle of the road...

Decent storytelling with nice art and it's always great to read about Grayson. But after the epicness of Dick-Bats it just feels like hes been watered down to nothing again.

Frankly the book needs a better writer whos willing to take more substantial risks.

If you're expecting something on the levels of All-Star Superman than No. If you are a Superman fan and want to pick up just one of his books than thats the one you pick up. George Perez Superman was great but sadly everything from his run even Lois's hidden feelings for Clark seem to be gone.

Exactly the answer I wanted.
I did love Morrison's All Star run but wasn't sure how I felt about his denim sporting Superman.

The Perez stuff didn't look appealing from the get go.

Perez Superman was very good to me even better than Action. However since the new team took over it just seems like all the ground work for the future Superman is gone. I loved how he wrote Lois and how she was struggling with her feelings for Clark. It made it seem like she was in love with Clark and saw Superman as a story but she was just to proud to tell him.

Hmmm.... I might give both Supes trades a shot then.
I know the denim outfit is suppose to lead up to the actual costume, so maybe Morrison is taking us somewhere.

Meanwhile, in Batman, I'll be picking up B:TDK for the new writer too.
And I won't be dropping Batman anytime soon, I think Snyder still has some potential in him, especially if this next arc is Joker heavy.
I know it's teetering on blasphemy on these boards, but I just don't enjoy Morrison's Batman Inc. I can get all the info I need from that by reading this thread.
