unless you have a big flat screan tv you should have seen this movie on the big screan. If you can find it playing in your area you should reconsider and go see it at a theater. :-)

Twice. The first CBM I've gone to see multiple times in the theater since Spider-Man 2.
Spider-Man still holds my record with 4

As someone who very rarely goes to theaters (I didn't even know about the other MCU movies until I ran across them on redbox. My last theater trip was in 2010 for the Dawn Treader), and who doesn't often rewatch movies I've already seen (at least not for a few years), I have to say that The Avengers became the first film that I watched twice in-theater (two different cinemas; the first time in 3D). That's kind of a huge deal for me. I was even tempted to see it a third time, but I'm restraining myself until I can get the DVD.
Edit: Ironically, (since I've not even seen any of the X-Men films-yet) it was actually all the public buzz around X-Men: First Class (back in 2011) that made me decide to see what superhero movies I could find on redbox, causing me to stumble across a little something called Iron Man... and that post-credit scene... Yeah... Last edited by cph9fa; 08-18-2012 at 01:38 AM. |

I saw it once (unfortunately in 3D, but I still loved the film so I think I'll love it even more on regular blu-ray). I almost always only see a film once and then wait for the DVD/BR release. I'll watch it many times!

CBMs I enjoy the most at this moment: 1) The Avengers, 2) The Dark Knight, 3) Iron Man 3, 4) Iron Man, 5) The Amazing Spider-Man. CBMs in the near future I'm most looking forward to at this moment: 2) Thor 2, 3) Man of Steel, 4) The Amazing Spider-Man 2, 5) Guardians of the Galaxy (would be higher in the list if it wasn't for how much I hate the film Super from the same director). |

I went and saw it 5 times. Got to see it more in theaters because of family and friends living in different areas.
Can't wait to get it on Blue-ray/DVD.

Seven times, including this afternoon. The other day I accidentally found a listing for The Avengers at an independent (cheap) theater near here, so I just had to go again. The auditorium had about 120 seats and the place was three-quarters full. It was a much bigger crowd than I had expected, and as we left more were streaming in for the 6 PM showing. The audience was really into it, laughing and clapping just like every other time I've seen it. The Avengers is the most crowd-pleasing movie I have ever seen.
Now I have to wait for the DVD/Blu-Ray, unless I break down and speing another $3 on it next weekend.

6 times, 5 of them on IMAX 3D. It's been a couple months since my last viewing, and I'm getting the craving, lol. I just discovered that it's now at my local Drafthouse theater, so I may need to squeeze in one more viewing before the Blu-Ray release.

I actually lost count I've seen it so many times. It's STILL at a local cinema so I'll see it again, maybe today.
