I lol'd at the start when Casey was like: "I think part of the problem was that it's always hard to let go of characters you love." Yeah, because that's what everyone complained about....

Anywho, can't believe it's next week. I hope it at least helps a little. I know that, for me, the ending will be fundamentally flawed even with extended scenes and an epilogue, but I sincerely hope the added stuff helps. Not holding my breath, though.

If there is another out cry after people play the Extended Cut. Casey Hudson needs to be fired. Well either way he should be fired. He seems to be out of touch with reality

Well, TBH: at this point, even if the EC is mindblowingly amazing, there will still be an outcry from somebody. I have no doubt that even if it's good there will be a very vocal group of people hating on it still.

But, I just hope it's good enough to elevate the ending from "terrible" to "tolerable."

Excellent, I've been holding off a new playthrough until the Ext. ending, I'll probably start getting around to playing it this weekend. That should sync me up for Tues.

There was some screenshots from the development posted as well:

See, that's where I think people take it too far, saying that Hudson should be fired because of a bad (majority opinion, not mine) ending to a video game? I mean even from a business standpoint, overall the game was still a huge success, I just don't buy that someone should lose their job cause of a bad ending, even those who hate the ending can admit that the rest of the game, and series, has been gold

Also, I noticed that ign stated the dlc is 1.9 gb, seems like a lot for just some more cut scenes

Well, it depends on how all-out they went with the DLC. If they added a ton of different cutscenes to the final battle that vary depending on your choices (which it sounds like they did) that could probably make up a really big chunk. Throw in the epilogue that will probably have just as many variables, etc. and 1.9gb doesn't sound too hefty.

There's gonna be a LOT of stuff on Tuesday... Skyrim's Dawnguad DLC, this, Amazing Spider-Man game, and apparently TWD: Episode 2.

My body is ready.

No, he shouldn't be fired because of the ending... He should be fired for blatantly lying for months and months.

So stoked to hear the extended cut is coming. I held off on my 2nd ME3 play through to wait for that. Ready to finish up ME2 and jump back into ME3. Bring it on!

Boo f***ing hoo. He lied about a goddamn video game. Get the hell over it.

Also didn't some group state EA wasn't guilty of any false advertising?

ultimately about the ending, so yea still too severe to me, if he continually messes up, makes sub par games, sure, but no, not for what happened with with me3, if it turns out to be an isolated incident

I really don't think some random group. That most people has never heard of. Until they so called cleared EA has any merit

I am over it. Someone said he shouldn't be fired because of the ending, and I stated why he should be fired.

Did I hit a soft spot?

At absolute most, EA should just keep him off Twitter and let the PR guys do all that work.

To a degree, even with avoiding most ME3 talks, its still annoying to hear the same whining that i heard when the game was released. Your dumb ass comment kind of just brought all that frustration back to the top.

Coz complaints are supposed to be dynamic? lmao.

Anyway it sounds like they're overselling again in that interview but meh, we'll see soon enough at least.
