Yeah, I was still talking to I'm With Team Conan. Why don't you pick up Tannehill & drop Schaub?

KillFace: Draft's set for Aug. 11th currently, so once we get the rosters settled, I'll let you know. So far the pending list is:

Apoc
Omega
KillFace

Between Fight Club & Knockout Kings, we ran 20 people & I ain't stretching it any farther than that. I hate thinly stretched Leagues where you basically have D listers as starters because of the shallow pool. As I said before, I'll probably end up axing 2 or 3 owners, so if any of you end up joining, you'll be taking over a franchise & picking 2 Keepers to carry over before the Draft starts.

Looking at the numbers they can put up, a Defensive Player can bring you in TE class points, so what Round should I start focusing on one? No later than the 4th I'd say.

Yeah I was thinking Cruz, plus with Manningham going to SF, means even mroe looks for him

16 team leagues are way too deep. Any league where Alex Smith could possibly be my only option at QB is no league I want to be in.

Easy. Drop Big Ben.

And that's not even totally Raven bias.

Yeah, drop the rapist. He is already fairly weak from a statistical standpoint (lots of yards but also lots of turnovers and incompletions, plus the Steelers have a tendency to run in the redzone). But you should also factor in that the Rooneys fired Bruce Arians because he did not focus on the ground game. They seemed to have given Hayley the order to focus heavily on the rushing attack this time around, meaning less passes for the rapist. Then when you consider Rapistberger's favorite target is holding out....it is shaping up to be a bad season for him.

IWTC: Glad I was able to pass on the fanatic love of fantasy football. My 1st experience with it was not so pleasant, go stuck with a bunch of douchebags & internet gangsters.

Dude, you'd better make sure your Keepers are set, lol. It'd be tragic if you'd let Johnson go into the Draft pool by accident. Well, tragic for you, as I recollect, you were a pain in the ass to play against, so by all means.

Omega: The Madden Curse be dammed, if Megatron's on the board, I'm taking him. If not him, then Revis Island, Ray Lewis, Mario Williams, or any number of Defensive Players will ALL be available since we expanded the rosters. This year's Draft is going to be so much for difficult.
Man, are we using NFL.com again? What happened to the Yahoo league! Oh the mortification! That is why I came back! I needed to whip you guys again and show you have its really played.

Malice's Marauders are going to back with a vengence after a year or two off.

This may be coming from a biased point of view (Falcon fan) but honestly I'd keep Ryan. This quote explains why I'd stay away
Quote:
Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers

Newton's backers would defend his Pro Bowl nomination last year by quoting that Newton set a single-season record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback (14) and became the first player to pass for 4,000 yards and rush for 500 yards in a season.

Those are impressive marks on their face but they are quantity-based and occurred after a lockout-truncated offseason. As I mentioned in my fantasy football draft guide, the lockout hurt defenses' ability to practice blitzes, which was a primary factor in why passing offenses were so explosive early on.

This impacted Newton as much as anyone, as he threw for 374 or more yards in three of his first four games. Once defenses started to get up to speed, however, Newton wasn't close to as effective a passer, throwing for 208 or fewer yards in five of his last six games.
Also, with Newton's running style, it's only a matter of time before he gets hurt. Ryan may not be able to give you 40 points, but he's a safe, consistent pick. Newton is a slight gamble, but its up to you.

Meh, Yahoo is just so f'n mundane for me. The NFL.com layout is just so much more......clean, streamlined.

Alright, with even Malice merging from hiatus, I need EVERYONE on the waiting list to send me their email addresses. I'm gonna go ahead & shear the dead weight & get the new owners in place so they can go over their Keepers & get all that done before the Draft.

Don't dawdle kids.

Alright ladies, the following applicants have been accepted & your invite to the Owner's Box has been sent. You'll be taking the reins of a franchise & it's up to you to pick the 2 Keepers ahead of the Draft. (Apoc, Omega, & Kill Face).

Malice, PM me your email so I can squeeze you in again.

Wes Welker & you're complaining? I also find it hard to believe there's NO ONE else to choose from.

Who are your other options?

2 years ago I would've never thought I'd not pick Chris Johnson as a keeper. Its amazing how quick RBs fade.

Meh, the system has changed, the game is now slanted against RBs. I still think they're incredibly undervalued in the NFL thanks to the shift to a more QB friendly structure.

Chris can still wreck shiz if utilized according to his talents.

i'm complaining about only having welker as the only legitimate option as a keeper. i want choices damnit.

everyone else on my team is mid-tier (flacco, dalton, greene). if this was 2003, i'd sure love to have LT as my keeper.
