The west just got a little wilder.

Stoked to see Jagar in the west too.

If anything, everything that's happened has made it easier for the Blues to win the Central

Detroit - Lidstrom retired. Didn't really sign anyone to take his place.
Nashville - Suter is gone. Who knows if Weber will stay now
Columbus - Need I say anymore?
Chicago - Probably the only other team that might compete for the Central division

I'm sorry I misplaced Minnesota. I was thinking of the new re-done divisions that got shot down.

You make it like the season starts tomorrow. The Red Wings will not likely sit idle. You could see them wind up with the likes of Nash.

I'm just saying that at this point so far, it seems like the teams in the Central division have gotten weaker.

And even if Detroit gets Nash or whoever, could that really replace the play and leadership that Lidstrom brought?

And even so, with what Howson wants for Nash, who does Detroit possibly have that Howson would want from their team?

Just heard that Shane Doan's held pleasent talks with the Canucks and if he gives a shortlist of teams they'll be on it.

Meh, I don't know why Vancouver's so intent on getting more forwards. I've been squawking for years that their defence is not as good as people think it is.

I think he'd be great in Vancouver, I could totally see Kassian shadowing his game around Doan's style.

I think Doan will stay in Phoenix as long as the team does, which at this point, is at least one more year.

Shea Weber inks 14-year offer sheet with Philadelphia Flyers; Predators can match.

Is it just me, or have there been like fifteen years of relocation talk, out of sixteen years of the Coyotes' existence?

I'm Soooooooo glad the Blues signed a perennial 15 goal scorer to a long term deal, Oshie is only good for selling Jerseys after that he is pretty much a third liner.

Rick Nash to Rangers. UFA market about to become unclogged.

Columbus trades Rick Nash to the Rangers for Brandon Dubinsky, Tim Erixon, Artem Anisimov and a 1st round pick.

Add him to the list of past his prime, over paid NY Ranger.

Bold move for the Rangers. Interested to see what they are giving up.

Dubinsky, Erixson, Anisimov and a 1st rounder for Nash? Seems like a steal.

My God I feel sorry for any Blue Jackets fans. Howson seems like an absolutely horrible GM. He's like the kid in grade school who traded his twinkies for some sunmaid raisins at lunch.

Yeah Nash is a great addition to ANY team, he put up the kind of numbers that he did on the ice in Columbus imagine what he could do with a real contender.
