I got a feeling every character in this show is expendable.

That machine keeping her alive at some point will be disconnected.
All of Norman's love interests are in danger.
Pretty much everyone

It's weird watching Norma, while knowing she'll be a scary ass **** dried up corpse later on in the future.

Pretty much what is going on almost.

So you NEVER watch a movie or read a book that is not a prequel/sequel??

Lighten up, man -- it's ENTERTAINMENT! And this one is good!

Stick around or you're going to miss the episode where they travel back in time to the 60's.

If it makes you feel any better, Highmore grows up to become Vince Vaughn.

To this day, that casting makes no sense to me whatsoever.

I do all the time...but I don't care about them immediately. This show banked on me already caring about the characters, and the other issues that I have with the show kept me from forming that necessary bond.

Every girl who sees Norman instantly falls uncontrollably in lust with him. I only saw the first episode, but you literally had attractive girls driving down the street, stopping their cars just to hit on Norman (who they had never met). Heck, one girl saw him vomiting in a trash can and could barely keep her lust in check. No, I'm not joking.

Never in my wildest imaginings would have I scripted that Norman was the most sought after guy in town, with every girl, even those clearly WAY out of his league, all desperate to date him. In fact, I would have assumed the exact opposite. This means, to me at least, these writers simply do not understand the character.

It's like a film school assignment that somehow got a budget.

Yeah, but it truly is terrible and Vaughn sucks as Norman. Though to be fair, this was before he became the Vince Vaughn we all know and roll our eyes at (the fast-talking smartass he's played in every one of his movies since Old School). This was back before he gave up on trying to show range as an actor. He actually can be good in character roles, if the movies themselves are good. Clay Pidgeons is a good example.

It was the late 90's and Vince was Hollywood's "IT" boy.

Yeah I like Dylan a lot too especially at this week's episode. I'm 100% sure too that they'd kill him off.

I don't see what's wrong with girls falling for Norman. He's a quiet, sensitive, and good looking guy. Troubled girls love that ****. Even in the original Psycho he had that romantic quality about him.

Gah, don't say that. I'm hoping he gets Daryl-ized into the series where he becomes too much of a fan favorite to kill off so soon.

I like the show so far but the first time the girls ( in the car ) saw Norman and picked him up, they were almost unrealistic candid and nice toward him. I was thinking "they will prank him" but no, maybe there is an hidden explanation beside kindness.

Dylan was an absolute dick when he first showed up, but he's gotten more likable as the series has progressed... especially with this last ep...

would hate to see him become a casualty within the context of the storyline...

I'll agree, that scene was a little too much. I understand the popular girls poking and prodding at the cute new guy to see what he's like, but that scene even made me say "Come on!"
