Never heard of the character. Very strange choice for a game. This could actually be an insanely bizarre, fun game, though. It's just all in the execution.

A baboon created in recent years by writer Daniel Way and some artist I don't know his name, much like Predators (movie characters) it hits gun totting people. Seems real so far, until proven a joke or the project is rehashed or scrapped I wonder how it would turn out to be

How many bets on this project getting canned sometime later? I'm starting

All this thread is doing is to show me who we can't trust us when the apes rise against us.

Know what I'd love? A team-up between Hit-Monkey, Howard the Duck and Rocket Raccoon.

I wonder why High Moon chose a little-known Marvel property for their next project. Maybe because it'd give them a lot of creative freedom? I don't know. Nonetheless, I'm interested.

This one leads to a blank page now, kinda sad since I wanted to see the game come out
So what do you think the Marvel game could be about? I hope they make an Iron Man game, footage of that Transformers game reminded me of Iron Man

Since the page is no longer in display I'd assume either the project was scrapped (in favor of something better hopefully) or the Monkey idea was a joke, but something else is in the works

Errr.....no. There was still an announcement and an ad. The game is still going, hence why we're talking about it.

So they're not taking another Marvel character in its stead?

They probably pulled the website because it was leaked. I'm sure the website will appear online (again) whey they officially announce it this weekend.

Out of all the f***ing Marvel characters they could have picked to make a game out of...they PICK HIT MONKEY!? WTF!? Hit Monkey sucks...this coming from the defender of Howard the Duck & Rocket Raccoon.

Why didn't they make a game out of Daredevil, Deadpool, Moon Knight, Punisher, Heroes for Hire, Fantastic Four, Guardians of the Galaxy... hell give us a good X-Men game finally. But Hit Monkey!? It's not like anyone even likes that characters. Come on Marvel & Activision, you don't see this being a big bomb?

I'm intrigued. What with Big Hero 6 being announced and then this it makes me think Marvel is trying to get out of the X-men...Spiderman...Avengers...X-men again rut. That's good! Plus...monkeys!

Think of what Karl Pilkington would say!

I'm more convinced that their mindset is something like:
"- You know what would be cool? A Hit-Monkey game!
- Is it a monkey with guns? Aweeesooome! Let's do it. "

Seriously, make a Deadpool game. He's much bigger than this freakin ape.

http://gamingeverything.com/24870/ac...deadpool-game/

Either that Monkey guy is a character Deadpool in this game. Or they are listening to the fans & scrapping the Monkey game & making a Deadpool game ?
