I really hope they don't make his spidey sense bigger. It's already intrusive, and it's already easy to track the guys you're fighting so it's not a big deal. Is there an option to turn it off?

I had a glitch a while ago that moved the camera back closer to a WOS distance. It was good to see something new and I enjoyed it while it lasted. This convinces me more than ever that they need to include an option to toggle between multiple camera angles next time (like gta, or most driving games).

That same glitch hit me and I hated it. Beenox was right in bringing the camera in close.

there is a chance they could release another game, they just haven't announced anything as of yet, plus it's only been a month since ASM, so I think they would wait til towards the end of the year before they announce a new title
Counting since 2000, three games before SM2, 2 of them were before Treyarch

I like the close camera, but after seeing it for the whole game it was refreshing to see a new angle. It wouldn't hurt to have the option to change it would it?
I think it's funny that there's an unintended feature (the alternate camera) concealed within the game that I can only access through a glitch. It's like in Web of Shadows on ps3, you were capable of swinging on two lines but only through an occasional glitch that happens when you confuse the controls.

Interesting, that's one glitch I'm looking forward to get

And I was wondering how ryuuie did it in his video, no wonder I couldn't do it no matter what I tried

Hi I'm just wondering if this game is worth picking up. I'm sorry if there is some great descriptions of how good/bad it is somewhere on this thread but didn't want to bump into any spoilers encase I do go for it.

Just want to know if it is any good or not

One question, are you a Spidey fan?

IMO, ASM, despite a few nitpicks, is a great Spider-man game and should be part of any Spidey fan's collection.

Get it dude. I think its down to like 49.99 new. Its easily the best Spidey game to come around in a long time.

Something similar happened to me. The camera became almost a first person camera, getting beside Spidey's ear. It was nice for a change.

I agree about it being optional in the sequel. It'd be a cool feature.

I bought it and I say that it is great to finally have a good Spider-Man game on my console once again. The last one was Ultimate Spider-Man.

Personally Id say rent it or wait till you can get it for $30 or below. Its great for one playthrough but I dont feel it has ugh replay value once you are done with it.

Yeah the cheapest I can find it over here in the UK is £34.97. May wait for it to come down a bit.

I still need to finish Arkham City anyway and Im still Playing MLB The Show 12 and Fifa 12.

Not enough hours in the day.

Hence no Spidey game has been worth near full price. I mean this game tried by throwing in a few side missions (the indoor stuff) but once those are done I didnt find swinging around the city repeating the same car chases, bringing infected to help, etc.... all that exciting. Like I said I liked it, but I cant advise anyone getting it for more than $30 especially since its something that will likely be found for that price or less this fall.

Thats another reason to hold off then, especially if you have no time to play it. Being in grad school and working myself, I dont have the time to play games like I used to so I have a huge backlog of untouched games. Ive learned to wait to get games until I can play them bc alot just sit around. By the time I actually can play, prices will have dropped. Thats been my philosphy for the last year when ebfore I used to be more of an impulse buyer

Meh, if you're a huge Spider-Man fan you'll find your own replay value. I'm a giant Spidey fan... so.. I had no problems spending 60 on this.

I'd do so again.

This.

Also, I'm hoping they release some kind of DLC. Still no word from Beenox yet.

Id wager the only DLC we will get will be the preorder bonus stuff. We won't get anything more than that.

Yeah, I don't expect to get much in the way of DLC... unless they surprise us with something when TASM bluray hits.

Really? EoT was in development for only a year and we got 5 or 6 bonus suits and an arena mode as part of DLC and it was free. So, you don't think they will try to support ASM with more content?

That wasn't DLC. They just gave out cheat codes online that gave out stuff.

Not that I can think of but I seem to remember Beenox saying they were going to be supporting ASM after its release. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure a couple of the designers said they had some stuff planned.

They weren't cheat codes. It was VIP codes that released the content that was already on the disc. Look at how you want, but it was still free content that was released after the release of the game.
