So true! The discussion and anticipation leading up to a 2:45min event with a fixed outcome is the most fun part of it all.

I do think some people go overboard with wanting to know so much beforehand.

Just think, at least when we were all nerding around here waiting for the dark knight they weren't saying "this is the absolute last batman movie we are doing."

nine days and then the franchise gets handed off to someone who doesn't know what they're doing to milk it for a little more cash.

I've seen two buses go past with TDKR posters on them and I had to start a conversation about Batman!

He's a critic from Philly who does get to see early screenings, so I would assume he has.

I don't think he saw it. He was talking about BB and TDK before that post.

oh ok cuz I was looking at his twitter and just an hour before writing this he told someone "can I at least see TDKR first"? in response to a question of how good it is.

I know he had early reviews of BB and TDK, but if he tweeted before this that he didn't see TDKR yet, well I guess he didn't. But still an interesting tweet regardless.

Would love to read the "400 page script with lots of crazy stuff" Chris talks about Jonah writing and giving to him as a first draft.

I agree 100% its like wanting to know your own fate or how you're going to die, lol. I made the big mistake of wanting to know 'more' before TDK opened. I remember after seeing it for myself, I regretted reading spoilers and watching so many clips online. I've held back quite a bit with TDKR but we live in a generation where information is like a drug.

THIS MUSIC. I JUST CAN'T. Zimmer did it.

When it comes to superhero movies, in terms of musical scores.

1. Rises. 2. Spiderman. 3. Avengers.

The Avengers had a soundtrack? That's news to me.

Man, the music being used for the trailers and tv spots are truly awespiring. Yet I'm sadden that Zimmer did not include them onto the first piece/edition of the soundtrack.

And no, it has not sank in that in 9 days I'll be seeing the entire trilogy unfold right before my eyes on the big screen for the final time.
