I must be the only one who doesn't care for The End. I didn't think very much of it.

I was just listening to The End again and my god I do love it. It really does feel like the end.

I will admit the drum track feels kinda out of place at times, but it reminds me of a slow plodding heartbeat that comes to an end.

after listening to the bonus tracks available thus far, I'm still annoyed that the MTV music (And trailer #3 music) has not seemed to find its way into an official track regular or bonus content, and yet really short, relatively uninteresting tracks like A Storm is Coming, and Death by Exile somehow make their way onto the OST.
I like the bonus tracks, but I expected "All Out War" to sound a little more like....all out war? |

I can imagine All Out War playing when both armies are getting prepared for the big battle.

So we're still missing No Stone Unturned (ironically enough)?

Yeah, I envisioned this playing when Bane's army raids Wayne Enterprises stocking up on weapons, tumblers, etc. |

Finally listened to the whole soundtrack. There is a lot of familiar beats in the soundtrack, which I didn't fully expect. But I'm loving it non the less.
Favorite tracks right now, excluding the bonus ones: Why Do We Fall? Imagine The Fire On Thin Ice Gotham's Reckoning Mind If I Cut In? |

Imagine the Fire is probably my favorite track on any of the OSTs for this series. When the section with the chant comes in, just...no.
I love how that same motif is incorporated into Risen From Darkness and The Shadows Betray you too. Means it's definitely used in the movie (which is not always a given with these OSTs!). But yeah, holy ****. This soundtrack friggin' rules so hard. I won't listen to "The End" until after I've seen the movie though. Pumped by all your reactions to it though. |

The droning synths didn't do a lot for me as a standalone listen, but I imagine it would work well in the film.

Also The End is straight up Blade Runner meets Traffic end music. So good.

I think The End has convinced me on the whole "Does Batman live or die?" debate.
Keep in mind I don't know anything about the ending :-p It is my "Time" on this soundtrack.

Can't believe Trailer 3 is not on the OST. To be honest, it is my favorite OST. It's beautiful.
Rise and On Thin Ice though...Oh, God.... |

This. The whole Inception OST is great and I think it's Zimmer's best work to date. Another track that's really good and that I think is rather underrated is Paradox.
My favourite from the TDKR soundtrack is still Why Do We Fall?. I like how it starts slowly and then at the end booms into the last part of Barbastella. It's got an inspiring feel to it. I love On Thin Ice too...it's melancholic and rather sad, but I like how it hints towards Why Do We Fall towards the end.

So I take it that Trailer 3 is not any of these bonus tracks?
