Haha true that. MoS is looking like it could actually connect with the audience emotionally, unlike the previous Snyder films. It's still early but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. And if the trailer is any indication, the action is going to be fast. Please let it be fast.

Yeah, but go back and watch the first SR teaser. I dare say that teaser was better than this one.

Two vastly different actors as Kal El/Clark's father figures... I hope that the movie shows elements of both of them in Superman's character.

I think it was more, for lack of a better word... organized. But take away the William's music and Brando's voice... and I don't know if I would say it was better.

Based on the impression from the CC trailer alone, it seems like both of Clark's fathers will have a significant impact on his life in regards to the choices that he later ends up making and such.

I've been so used to the Donner-CR like Superman world from S:TM to all the way to SR that it feels surreal still to see a Superman film that looks so...different.lol

This teaser alone feels like the film will have a distinct feeling of gravitas. The teaser surely doesn't show the Superman version of Michael Bay's Transformers that some people feared that Snyder would make it out to be.

Agreed; and granted, while i do agree that CC fans tend to be more accepting of footage shown at CC; Idk..i feel like MOS sure does look to be very promising from what we've seen and heard so far.

It definitely has the chance of informing the GA that there's a lot more to Superman's character than most would assume.

On another note, when it comes to the flying scenes, i really hope that Snyder had found a way to make them look more realistic and not rely so much on CGI models for Superman like Singer did.

Weren't they still doing re-writes while shooting? Can't really remember, but something could've change during shooting.

The interview clip with the costume designer though kind of confirms it's really Zod.

Well that's not really a fair comparison since:

1. The trailer at CC isn't going to be the final teaser that's released to the public to see.

2. All we have is just access to whoever was fortunate enough to record the footage shown in a bad angle.lol


And even IF the CC was to be used as the final teaser, I say that MOS's CC Teaser offers more about what's going on with the character than SR's first teaser did.

The only dialogue heard in SR's teaser was MB's voice as Jor-el, and we saw nothing imho that showed us anything significantly important about the plot other than taking us through some nostalgic moments, which the film was about essentially.

So... what's this about Snyder acting coy about Zod being the villain? Anyone know what's up with that, since Zod was announced a long time ago?

Anyone think there might be some sort of a merging of villains (something like Zod becomes Brainiac or whatever)?

I think someone was saying that this trailer was better than the whole SR movie. I can say one thing for sure. It certainly offers more promise. I remember thinking after SR. Where do they go from here? However a trailer doesn't a good movie make. As we found out.

That's true; there have been many great trailers that turned out to show the only good parts from a film.

I'm more worried by Sucker Punch and Watchmen after all their visual praise. Especially the later which was plotted out for you to follow.
The former had depth but didn't know how to execute it.

Man Seeing the leaked blurry Footage was awesome!! THIS is the Superman we all have been waiting for!!! The Music was epic the action was epic Superman walking in the clouds looked epic!! Can't wait to see it in all its Glory next Friday.

One complaint, i really wasnt impressed by the flying at all. Maybe with better quality that will change. With that being said, I really liked the shot of Superman going through the walls and hitting the safe as in the first picture. The costume looked really vibrant and nice.
