Gunn addresses a question about the Momoa/Drax rumor:

When someone does a screentest for a movie, do they do deal, and then screentest for a movie with the deal already in place, like actors do for a TV pilot, or do they screentest, you see if you like them, and then you make a deal with them?
"I think they can do either, but I've only ever done screen tests with people when they already have a deal in place."

More than anything else that lends credence to the people to never bought into the "Momoa is trying to get more money" rumor. No one would try to renegotiate a deal that they had just agreed to. That would guarantee you don't get auditions anymore.

Also, casting is taking place in the UK.

Arthur Douglas was an older white man before Thanos and his intergalactic thugs blew him and his wife away. Mentor and Kronos then turned him into a big, green humanoid of indeterminate age when they resurrected him.

Perhaps, Momoa should think about taking a low guaranteed compensation for the first movie but a much bigger comp for the second movie....and also points on the gross revenue above a certain level. Like, taking 1% of worldwide boxoffice after $500M.
