Hank Pym changes names and outfits more than most heros change socks!
Well, it seems that way sometimes. What's your fav incarnation of ole High Pockets and why? Myself, I like them all but have always been partial to Yellow Jacket. The costume was a big hit with me as a kid. And I liked the Sting Gun, the holster, crazy Hank, it all =Badassed! Last edited by VictorShade; 07-19-2012 at 02:09 PM. |

I always liked Hank's Goliath suit, but it always confused me as a kid....it looked so much like an X-Men uniform that I spent a great deal of time assuming he *was* an X-Man.
I'm also partial to Hank's Ultimate Giant-Man look. Very retro, and cool. My profound hope for this movie and Avengers sequels is that Scott Lang is Ant-Man, but Hank is Giant-Man. The team *needs* Giant-Man.

I like most of them, but blue & yellow Goliath suit edges it for me, not sure why.

As far as the Goliath outfits are concerned, i was always partial to the red/blue one that was the same design as the yellow/blue one.

![]() Doctor Pym from the West Coast Avengers era. NO crazy stuff! NO crippling depression! He was a useful Avenger withOUT having to be all nuts and stuff. Being able to shrink and regrow stuff just by touch and having a whole arsenal at his fingertips. ![]() As a costumed super hero though its probably a toss up between him being Ant-Man and Giant-Man. When he was Yellowjacket he was a douche. Goliath and Wasp era Pym are pretty good.

I like the more sort of kooky science obsessed Pym in Mighty Avengers. Makes him more interesting & fun.

I was also a pretty big fan of Hank's in the 'Giant-Man' stage that followed Yellow Jacket. The open faced mask, red outfit that was sleeveless.

what makes sense to me is him being Giant-Man when he's serving as part of a team (preferably the Avengers). when he's solo or partnering with the Wasp, i think he should wear his "Wasp Tribute" costume and call himself 'Hornet.' no, i don't care that there were two other characters using that name. Hornet and the Wasp just makes too much sense.
