Also, I recommend checking out a website called Spidey Kicks Butt. The guy there wrote a ton of great essays on different points of Spidey's history.

Thanks for the info guys. Do you all find the old issues of TASM enjoyable? I'm up to around issue 20 now and while I'm enjoying it a ton, it's pretty darn cheesy in the Stan Lee writing department and most of the villains dont really have unique attributes besides different powers. They all essentially talk the same and act the same. This changes right? XD

Of course it does. That's a whole different era. The 60's were very campy. By the time the 70's roll around ASM begins to mature in it's writing. In the 80's, the majority of comics had an edge to them.
ASM #33 was the first, great issue of the franchise, so hang in there.
