I personally don't draw a distinction between Bruce and Batman like that. They are one and the same to me. He doesn't stop being Batman when he takes the suit off. |

Hey he was in the movie heaps! In fact a whole portion was dedicated to.... oh you mean the costume.... not Batman.

First scene: Maybe ten minutes. Second: 10. Third: Is 10-20. It feels even less.

Alfred instead of trying to prove a point by leaving would simply try to encourage Bruce into pushing him into the right direction.

Hey I'm sorry, but there are SO many pages to look through at this stage in the hype. Figured I'd just ask.....
Did Osito make an appearance in this movie? Background? Foreground? Invisible?

But Bruce wasn't having it. There had to be a breaking point eventually and that came when Bruce decided to suit up again.

Well having Bruce be inactive for 8 years was ****ing stupid.
Yes, build Wayne Manor and a new Batcave and just quit for 8 years. Batman's war was on crime not organized crime. Feh.

To be fair, though, if you re-watch Batman Begins, Alfred mentions to Bruce how they can make some "improvements in the south wing" where the Batcave is located, so the new and improved Batcave could have been constructed, but not fully operational, during the year between Begins and The Dark Knight. And if not for the Dent Act, Bruce would have been using it more often. Also, as Rachel explains to Bruce in Batman Begins, it was organized crime headed by the likes of Carmine Falcone that was the disease and that the petty crimes committed by the Joe Chill's were just mere symptoms. In other words, to combat the disease, you go after the source of the infection, not the symptoms. Even The Dark Knight establishes that Batman, Gordon, and Dent primary goal was to take down what was left of the mob.

Too much hate. TDKR doesn't deserve it.
Perfect film? No. An okay summer blockbuster movie that perfectly concludes the trilogy? Hell yes.

I was totally expecting a bunch of halfwits and critic wannabes trying to look tough by criticising every point of movie, so I couldnt give any less damn about people's reviews expect my own. People waited and praised this movie to godlike levels that its almost a perfect oppurtunity for trolling and gaining something. Same reason why that Bleivik wannabe chose TDKR openings to slaughter as many people possible.

i kinda agree because that 8yr gap could have been room for a new trilogy without doing a reboot or origin again.he could have went against 3 villians and 3 films in that spand.

I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere but I haven't been able to find it. How is it that Bruce heals up so quickly in the prison after having his back damaged?

That's not the story Nolan wanted to tell though. The whole gist is that he is physically and emotionally scarred by the events of TDK.

![]() If the movie has so many mistakes and well deserved criticism, it is not a perfect ending. |

Pardon my poor choice of words. I think the movie is not as good as everybody wants it to be, not a masterpiece, not as good as TDK or BB but TDKR concluded Bruce's arc very well.

Haters are going to say "Its ridiculous and makes no sense. Nolan's been an advocate for reality since he first started making these movies and this doesn't fit" Include me in the last group. It makes no sense and the way it was dealt with could've been much better or at least more believable. |

If it being the perfect ending is reliant on 100% of people think it is perfect, then that is clearly never acheivable.
