I don't think the Muslim Brotherhood is much of anything to worry about. The only real only place it may have come to power is in Egypt, and that didn't happen. Libya has a provisional government, Syria should have one too by the end of the year, Yemen didn't go that way, Tunisia didn't etc. The biggest issue coming out of the Middle East I see is a renewed civil war in Afghanistan or instability in Pakistan. Iran will never develop an atomic bomb, so the threat is much lessened compared to ten years ago.

Right now, the there is nothing to worry about the Muslim Brotherhood, but I fear that if we see them as a plague as opposed to a legitimate movement, there could be problems down the line.

Duuuuudee, Egypt has the second strongest/largest Airforce in the middle east. You know the 200 F-16s given by the United States??? And equipment like that decays and requires maintenance. There is only a period of time for it be used.
Put the two together.

If the Federal Reserve is successfully audited and there are secret bailouts would it be enough for Congress to want to hand back control of the nation's monetary system to the Department of the Treasury again?

So when is a Democrat or Republican gonna balance the budget and reduce the debt? Cause Obama and Romney ain't doing that...and I doubt the parties elect anyone who can keep that promise...so better question is when is a monetary collapse gonna happen? 6-8 years from now or closer to 2030?

Because the American military is for the most part totally incompetent on how to occupy and stabilize a country except through brute force. Their tactics and techniques are outdated and obsolete because they are based off research tactics from World War II and the Cold War. The US hasn't successfully occupied a country since Japan and Germany during World War II and just like Iraq the only way it could have happened is because they totally destroyed the country's infrastructure. The same thing happened in Iraq including the destruction of the oil producing infrastructure which is what helped increase the price of crude over the last ten years.
Plus lots of defense contractors pressure the regime to put in overly large and unneeded infrastructure in the country so they make more money and then also overstate the cost its needed with little Federal oversight. This is also why they went into Iraq to spend billions and so much went missing, was stolen, and most of the country still lies in ruins. Plus America and its corporations like pushing global influence in countries to push their vision of democracy on the world because they think it will create peace and stability while involving the actual indigenous people very little in the process. America's imperialism is now blowing up in its face because no pro-Western government exists in Iraq now, the Pakistani's hate us, Afghanistan's government in Kabul is already thoroughly corrupt and will probably collapse when the country returns to civil war once NATO leaves, Egypt's US backed dictator is gone, Gadhafi was backed somewhat by the West and now he is gone, Tunisia is the same case, and so is Yemen. Syria is the only exception to this. The Arab world is not happy with America right now. |
