It's very possible, rewrites aren't always needed for scenes like that anyway. They don't need a full out cameo of Bruce Wayne observing Superman, but a minor one would be cool. Something like hearing a mention of Gotham, Central City, Keystone City, etc. on the news or even freeway signs. Even headlines like "Visitors from Mars?" on the news could show Clark watching it and reflecting on his own Alien heritage, while also hinting at the Martians.
