Just a so so movie but Bale was fun in Harsh Times. "Damn, those are bad-ass kicks, dawg. You're lucky you got little ***** feet, or else I'd be stompin' around in them mother ****ers."

I probably wouldn't have it on my Netflix queue If Bale wasn't in it. I'll go ahead and watch it today.

I was kinda surprised pleasantly when I watched Harsh Times - Bale, as always, did an excellent job. Again immersed himself into the character.
And yeah T4 should've been more focused on Connors. It was okay in terms of some of the actions though. I still love this scene, good nod to T2: VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

In fact... Bale's pretty much tackled the dystopian film setting from all possible angles / characters hasn't he?
Reign of Fire ............. plays the pastor/"family man" trying to survive Equilibrium ................ double-agent working for the fascist regime T4............................ saviour of mankind / military leader (the opposite of Reign?) TDKR........................ the superhero/deus ex machina |

Found these gifs right now. Credits to whoever made these.
I laughed so hard about this scene from American Psycho, Bale has truly even a talent for comedy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() followed by "Hey Paul" - BAM! It was like ![]() ![]() A really blatant performance.

Haha, yeah. I had some issues with the way they put American Psycho together, but I loved the way they worked in the chapters where Bateman describes cheesy 80s musicians. The Sussudio scene is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I just finished watching Harsh Times, the movie was good but Bale was great as usual. I'm glad I finally saw it.

Bale is hilarious as drunk Borden in the Prestige.
"Freddy?" "Well that's my name" with a weird face If only I could find a gif of that face.

I still can't get rid of his voice screaming at himself saying
"WHY CAN'T YOU BLOODY OUTTHINK EM EH?!" (admit it, it's something we ALL scream to ourselves from time to time )

Forgetting Batman for a moment (if possible)
Does anyone else see him as a modern day Robert De niro? He may not have the acting ability of De niro but he does have a similar mysterious style about him. Despite what I just said however I do rate him very highly as an actor. Much better than DiCaprio, in my opinion (who he is often compared to) |

Kudos to you, Mr. Bale, for making a sick child's dream come true!

By ability or style, Bale is closest thing to De Niro. I hope he won't be a part of lame movies like De Niro in future. With that said, Tom Hardy favorite guy for "tough guys" "mafia" "villians" etc. parts so i wouldn't be surprise if people consider him as modern De Niro. I would love to see Bale playing a villain by the way.

Without Bale, the movie is but a shell of itself. I have a hard time picturing anyone else in the role.
