The whole "The mask is to show Batman could be anybody" makes me laugh every time. Why? Because its the exact same thing Andy Kaufman used for Tony Clifton

The only thing possibly unintentionally funny about that is Dagget's awesomely hilarious speaking at Bane. I'm sure it was intentional though and so his attitude at Bane gets me every time. I love his "WHAT. THE. HELL. Is going on?" and the "Oh, reaallly?" after Bane says everything is going to plan is hilarious. That guy did a great job.

That was only part of the reason. The other part was to hide his face and keep people guessing, to show Batman could be anybody. Don't tell me I'm wrong, I've seen it 3 times and the last time was 20 minutes ago

Yep, the guy felt like he was the main man, and he just kept on going.

Don't know if it's funny to some but on Bruce's second attempt at climbing the pit the music is also very rapid paced but then slows down in a weird "better luck next time" crawl when Bruce falls again and he's just hanging there.

Bane said it. Daggett, like an idiot, thought money gave him some sort of power over Bane.
If that was me, I could have gave Bane 10 billion dollars, but I would have always remained bowed to Bane. Nonetheless, hilarious scene in its own way. Just great acting and flavorful dialogues from Daggett and Bane. We got to see major characteristics of Bane and Daggett. |

I was smirking during the build up to Dagget's death. Mostly because I figured he was about to get it.

Something small, but I remember thinking that JGL should've went easy on sprinting through the hospital with that shotgun. He made it look like it weighed only a 1/2 pound and I'm assuming there's no way a 12 gauge weighs that little and looks that easy to swing around
![]() Also, I don't know if I should find Bane's first pose in front of Blackgate when he steps on the Tumbler amusing for me or him being sarcastic in front of the people.

Just curious but it seems that either we all have such good memories that we're all remembering even the tiniest details, has anybody seen it more than once? twice? three times?
I've seen it twice in theaters but I've managed to get a pirated DVD to savor this magnificent movie until the official DVD/BD comes out.

The more I think about it, every time Alfred talks with Bruce he cries and goes into another room...
![]() But I'll be damned if he doesn't win an Oscar.

The way Bane moves his head when he's giving the speech at Blackgate, "And we give it to the peeeeople"

Have to echo those who have mentioned Miranda's death. Most of the cinema audience laughed which can't have been what was intended.
Don't know why Nolan and none of the crew failed to pick up on it. |

It's a little amusing that none of the guns in the stock exchange robbery were actually firing off any type of blank cartridges (or whatever they use in films in making the guns actually go off, I know some movies use little bits of CGI) and it was just the guys waving the guns around in the air at the TVs.

Guns don't always have muzzle flashes.
What I'm a little ticked about is the lack of squibs during some of the kills. The guys just dropped dead without there being any visual indication they were actually hit. Small nitpick, but it's there. |
