He lived in a pit with brutality and no hope, he might have found the kids voice "lovely", he was a mad man, one minute up and the next second down in mood, showed that his emotions could change in seconds.

Okay this point has been debated a few times in this thread. I can't see how it is not mean to be funny... he may been raised in the pit but come on. Bane said "Thank you" to guy who had his motorcycle helmet is that not meant to be funny? Of course it is. But I doubt Bane learnt manners in the pit.

I remember thinking that that was debatable since Bane wasn't really trying to be funny compared to Blake being sarcastic to Foley about "You sure that was him?". From the director's/audiences' POV, I'm sure it was meant to be a chuckle moment but from Bane's, maybe not. I can see what he/she means in a way, but from the director's chair, I'm sure it was meant to be a light moment before a hammer got dropped.
Some scenes can go either way, but some are very obviously light comedic moments in the film from the writers.

People in the theater I was in cheered for him when he approached the front line in his uniform.

The scene was originally longer:
"His speed, his training, his strength. I must admit Master Wayne, watching him gives me an erection the size of a tangerine." |

Came off really ****ing corny, which I'm sure was unintended. Also way out of character.

LOL, yeah. Altough not as bad as his multiple orgasms in the Ra's rescue scene from BB.

These were the only times where Bale's Bat-voice was perfect.

After that it just went to the ****ter, completely ridiculous. Couldn't someone have told Nolan that Bale sounds like a parody of himself in that last trigger scene? |

![]() That said, it's still an unintentionally funny moment. But still awesome. I was laughing because of how awesome it was in the theater. |

In Talia's flashback as a little girl and Bane fighting off the thugs still managed to whisper a faint "goodbye", it just sounded so ADR'd.

Matthew Modine's entire performance. It 's just funny that he was out trash-talking other CBM's and their characters prior to TDKR's release and he ended up being the most forgettable pointless character in the entire movie.

Now I'm starting to feel like every scene in the movie has been mentioned in this thread.

The entire "Cops run directly at machine gun wielding thugs" sequence was pretty hilarious to me, as was the Bat battering the unstable nuke against lamposts and things as it flew away.
Nolan really let the stupid in on this film. |
