For me, the "Tell me where the trigger is, then you have my permission to die" was WAY more badass then the "I know how you got these" line. I thought the former was awesome, and was pure batman.

Agreed, I prefer the trigger scene as well. Batman was on the front foot and angry.

Trigger scene was genius. It transcended parody and became something else entirely.

Batman reusing the permission to die line was pretty sweet too.

I know it was meant to be nod to the fans (thus maybe also intentionally funny), but IMO the scene where we found out that John Blakes actual name is "Robin" seemed kinda awkward to me...

Tons of cheese in this flick. It's too bad because taking the audience seriously is what set Nolan's Batman's apart from the other nerd movies that come out every week like The Avengers, Superman, Wolverine, etc.

But the part that nobody has mentioned yet that was pretty embarrassing was when Batman is giving Catwoman the batpod and he's like, "when the fighting starts, blow open the entrances." and then she looks at the ground and passive-aggressively asks, "so you can save your stuck up girlfriend?"

I thought this was Batman, not the Teen Choice Awards.

Yeah, that scene where they show Miranda in the building, with the intense music, as if she's the damsel-in-distress. We all know she would later reveal herself to be Talia, thanks to set the pics last year, but at this point, the general audience is led to believe: "Oh no! Batman's girlfriend's been kidnapped! Go save her Batman!" SO cheesy.

Miranda in the building already had the evil look. i think this was meant as the first step to build her up.

My friends always laugh when Foley calls Blake a hot head. I don't know why, my friends are morons sometimes.

I laughed at the scene where Bruce is talking to Miranda at the party about how he never goes to these type of parties because thet are usually thrown by some old hagg who just throws the party for her own selfish reasons or something like that. Then Miranda tells Bruce that SHE is the one who threw this event. The look on Bruces face, then he says an embarassing, "oh"

What? he was being a total hothead.

That was getting old for sure. Just because he mentions Bane a couple times, he's a hothead? He could have walked in with photo evidence, blood samples, a witness, everything you could imagine and he STILL would have been called a hothead. Stupid.

Indeed, I thought the same. Also a lot less usage of "nice" haha

Nice coat, Nice coat, Nice, Nice riide etc lol

Agreed with the chanting guys in the pit, they are a hoot to watch. along with some of the extras in the stadium scene who have static ugly fake horror faces haha.

During the final action sequence, right when Batman is first taking off in the Bat, Lucius says something along the lines of "You've got to get that bomb out of here!" and then it cuts to Batman in the cockpit and Lucius says "And you've got 10 minutes!"

Everything about how that moment played out, including Freeman's delivery, just made me feel like Batman was about to go on a mission with StarFox

Desperate never came to mind in the trigger scene, more like domination, a nice turn around given how the first fight went down.

Talia's last breath is the only moment I found unintentionally funny, everything else was fine and played out how it was meant to.
