I was referring to Bane saying that he didn't see the sunlight until he was a man, and if he's telling the truth then he couldn't be the child that escaped. But I missed the connection because there was so much going on in the story, and we were hearing a lot of the backstory second hand.
Actually, I'm a little surprised that Bruce didn't pick up on that inconsistency. Although he did take quite a few blows to the head.

I meant "Thats nice" as in "I dont really care about what you have to say". In fact, I dont really care that you liked the movie, cause you clearly can't accept that not everyone will love everything that Chris Nolan gives them. |

Of course, some posters would call that cherry picking....unless THEY'RE talking about their audience having a positive reaction. Then, its perfectly fine. This whole debate is yet ANOTHER case of a group of Nolanites who can't accept that people dont find every aspect of a Nolan product perfect. |

I think Cotillard is to much overawe by the Hollywood stuffs. She should take a break and take some hindsight. She has so much potential.

EDIT: Never mind. I just want to say that I'm not a "Nolanite", and you really don't have to be so rude because someone disagrees with you. Last edited by Street Vendor; 08-05-2012 at 12:45 PM. |

She definetely needed more screentime with and without Bruce/Batman. Nolan could have made her arc interesting if he had explored the character's comic book duality. He could have made her torn between her loyalty to her protector / father figure / older brother Bane and her "passion/conexion" for Bruce. He even could have made Bane's efforts more personal if he had made him hate Bruce for being Ras choice to lead the LOS by his side.

Majority of people knowing Miranda is Talia in the movie?
Majority of people didn't even know Bane. Some batman fans, some "Dark Knight" fans and some people accidently spoiled in net knew it. That's not majority.

The majority didn't even know what a Talia was, as she wasn't portrayed in live-action before, unlike Bane, Catwoman, The Joker, Two-Face, The Riddler, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, etc. The mass audience's greatest exposure to Batman comes from live-action films and to a less extent live-action TV shows.

Was it intentional to type Two-Face twice?

Nope. I think I copied and pasted the name instead of cut and pasted when I moved the order around.

The day my fangirl heart became SO HAPPY. I gotta say though that the still of them kissing at the 3rd trailer still tops the cake. We were going overdrive here thinking about the possibilities of her character. Ah... good times.

Lol. That cat 'dying' like Marion's Talia. It's actually like that in the movie. She has her head to the side and then all of a sudden throws it down and closes her eyes.
