Default Your Childhood Favorites

Basically, what movies were heavily influential to you as a child? I don't mean just general good movies, I mean films - good or bad - that are legitimately engrained in your head, that have that nostalgia factor that movies you've seen later in life can never really recapture.

In no particular order:

Batman 1989 probably hits me with more nostalgia than any other film. I think I was around 9 when I first saw it on VHS.

Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi

Mask of the Phantasm I was able to see with my Dad while it was briefly in theatres. Watched it all the time when it came out on VHS

The Great Mouse Detective

Raiders of the Lost Ark

Jurassic Park (I was big into dinosaurs as a kid. Saw this when I was about 10 or 11 and it blew my mind)

The Nutcracker
Annie
^For some reason I went nuts for both of those movies when I was about 2.

The Wizard of Oz
Batman
101 Dalmatians
The Jungle Book
Robin Hood
Pinnochio
Aladdin
Beauty and the Beast
Snow White
The Rescuers Down Under
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Muppet Christmas Carol
Muppet Treasure Island
D2: The Mighty Ducks
Batman Forever
Star Wars
The Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
Singin' in the Rain
Spaceballs
Young Frankenstein
My Blue Heaven
Star Wars: Episode I...which is probably the last movie I could qualify as being nostalgic for me.

There's probably more, but that's all I can think of for now.

Spielberg's Hook was one of the major ones, if not the biggest. It's the first movie I remember seeing and is a nostalgic representation of my childhood.

Super Mario Bros, Pokemon the First Movie, Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Godzilla vs Biolante (this one stands out amid countless Godzilla films, for some reason), Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

The Goonies is still the greatest film ever made. I can't believe how many people I had to introduce that movie to as both a teenager and an adult. I don't understand how anyone had a childhood without that movie.
