i rather they pick someone that is good at acting than a unknown (Brandon Routh). I would not mind indie actors that had proven their worth (Michael Fassbender). But choosing an unknown actress only has 1 benefit, that is they're able to find someone that look alot like the Superhero, which I don't really need that. So I'm hoping they get someone with good acting chops. Not that Jessica Biel is a great actress or anything, but she can definitely kick ass.
Kate Beckinsale would be my 2nd choice.

I think if they were looking for a matured, strong female actress for Princess Diana, Lena Headey is a no brainer. I think she's perfect for the character in all the right ways

To me, established actors are the way to go. It worked for TDK.

I liked Edgerton as an actor, but he's not good looking enough to play Aquaman. He looks like Conan O'Brien with muscles.

You need a respectable actor as Aquaman with critically acclaimed work in Hollywood and who is getting great buzz in the industry. That's Edgerton. Aquaman is the least respectable character to general audiences. Edgerton in the role would make the public take the character seriously.

Thats what I think also. Aquaman is the most good looking one in the league maybe only second to Supes. Plus he isn't wearing a mask so he really needs to be able to look good on camera.


Plus he has blond hair and blue eyes, so he gotta definitely be able to pull that off.

1. He is too skinny
2. He isn't good looking enough
3. He can't pull off the king of atlantis
4. He is way past his prime and age has not treated him kindly. Not everyone is like Robert Downey Junior.

They should at least cast someone that has the majestic feel around them. Someone like, I hate to say it but Chris Hemsworth.

He was in the same heavyweight range as Tom Hardy in Warrior. Google it. He's big.

He isn't past his prime either. He's 38. Jeremy Renner in Avengers is 3 years older. They look around the same age range and are both in great shape.

You're right about his size.
I just think he isn't good looking enough. I guess he could fit into certain versions of Aquaman. Im just not sold on it. Because the Aquaman I always pictured was like the one on Smallville. I have to be convinced when I see it.

I think the film should take the character in a completely different direction, but that's just my preference.

I like Edgerton as an actor but let's not overrate his appeal here. The guy has never been in a hit movie in the U.S., unless you count his five-minute appearance in the Star Wars prequels.

You and I are on the exact same page, with how they need to cast the film with established talent. This would be my cast, the only one I'm a little bit iffy about is Bradley Cooper, I know he could do it, and well, and the audiences like him, but he's not as perfect for the Flash as all the other actors you listed are as perfect for their respective roles

lol. eh, no. The only time he is popular is when he is wet and ready - Geoff John's run on the character. He is practically half nekked most of the time.
