Not a movie, but related: The video game based on Jackson's King Kong is called Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie. What a convoluted mess of a name.

Two of the worst titles I've ever heard:
"Help, I'm A Fish" "Slap her... She's French" These aren't B-movies either, they're real movies. |

Any sequel with a number at the end of it's title. It's just lazy. Books don't do this, why do movies get the easy out?

Yeah, the overly vague titles annoy me to no end. Especially when they HAD a good title and then the studios decided to change it at the last minute because they thought it wouldn't appeal to mainstream audiences (i.e. The Wettest County in the World became Lawless).
I also get annoyed by titles that are simply the name of the main character. If it's a historical figure, it makes sense (i.e. Lincoln). But if it's just some random fictional character that we've (probably) never seen before, I don't understand why studios think that would motivate anyone to want to see a movie. To me, this is just lazy. Dave Jack Jerry Maguire Ted Hugo Charlie St. Cloud Taffin Lastly, here are a few more that just plain suck for whatever reason: Reindeer Games Alvin & the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked Hop Just Go With It Battle: Los Angeles Limitless Tower Heist We Bought a Zoo Mr. Pooper's Penguins Dolphin Tale I Am Number Four Soul Surfer Spy Kids: All the Time in the World In Time Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close Salt Eat Pray Love Knight & Day The Tourist Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole Killers Cop Out

yeah, I really don't think Brave captured the themes of the movie, I mean, yeah, i guess bravery comes into play during the self-sacrificing bits, but that's more just selflessness. Any relevance the title has to the story is reeeeeaaallyy abstract and vague lol.

Most of the Pixar movie titles are so vague it's irritating. I mean seriously, Up? They couldn't come up with anything better than that?

The Fast & The Furious just got unimaginative with their sequel titles.
2 Fast 2 Furious Fast & Furious (same as the first they just removed the wording of the two THE's) Fast Five (ugh!)

On IMDB they have it as The Fast & The Furious 6, don't know if they'll change it or not.

I believe it is just going to be called Fast Six, which is awful. Fast Five was bad, but at least you still had the alliteration there, so it made some sense. But Fast Six is just lazy.
