Well, that's pretty BLUNT of you.

But I do like her, but I want her to replace Blake as Carol Ferris, I don't know why.

WW has been in the works for the past 10 years. Until it actually goes into production and has a team set on it, I wouldnt believe WB at all. That is like their go to statement about a WW movie.

its easy to find an attractive chick who can look the role, but the thing i like about Jessica Pare is that she's actually proven herself as an exceptional actress. She's done some great work on Mad Men. And if by some miracle the writers could get the Wonder Woman character right, Pare could deliver without a doubt.

I don't know about that, it seems her and her character don't quite jive with the Mad Men crew. It could be just the character, though.

i prefer gemma artreton she actually has done big films so she would not be foreign to action and a very good actress and even better at 26 gemma can easily do an origin

Ashley Greene anyone? She's like a younger Jessica Pare with better teeth and no lisp!

She also has a distinctive look about her. Aside from being in Twilight movies, I have faith that she's got the acting chops to play a strong female icon

Katrina Law (like Daniela Ruah) is likely the type of candidate that WB would be seeking -- unknown and cheap. Yet, Katrina hasn't proved herself in the acting world and she's yet to star in a mid-sized film.

No way to Ashley Greene.

I haven't been all that impressed with Jessica Pare on Mad Men, either. And her voice is ALL WRONG for WW, imo.

I'm still of the opinion that Emily Blunt is one of the better options out there at the moment. Dunno about the Spartacus lady.

I wish I was confident in saying that WB is going to pick up an actress of Atwell's or Hall's caliber for the role of Wonder Woman, but I honestly believe in my heart that we're going to get an actress we've never heard of to play Diana Prince.

My top three are Gemma, Hayley and Lynn.

In no particular order.

Now as for the costume, silver or gold, pants or battle skirt, star spangled bottoms?

One of the problems Wonder Woman faces is that the costume and cheesy TV series have tainted the public opinion of her a bit. While she should be a symbol of female empowerment, a lot of people still find her a little silly. So it might be best of they could snare an established, respected actress for this. Thus I'd have to give the nod to Rebecca Hall or Emily Blunt above any others. I do like Gemma Arterton and Lynn Collins though too.

As for the Ashley Greene suggestion... give me a ****ing break.

She needs a battle skirt, or atleast something that makes her stand out and says " I am from an ancient civilization and not from a swim suit edition"

I think Xena's armor would be a good reference point for a live-action Wonder Woman costume.

FOUND IT!

I don't know. Clearly, you don't like the idea of her, but I think she's got potential. I suggested her because of her looks and age

Like I said before, if Lena Headey would've been a little younger, she would be my best bet. Rebecca Hall is not a bad choice, but the thing is, she's already in Iron Man 3. Gemma Arterton annoyed the hell out of me in Prince of Persia, but that was just one movie, and I haven't seen anything else from her

Anybody who is a part of Marvel's Avengers universe won't be looked at. So Rebecca Hall is a no.

Sorry, didn't mean to lash out at you there over the Ashley Greene thing... I'm still a bit reactionary because there was this guy over on the Superman boards who was suggesting her every five minutes for Lois Lane and then he complained all to hell when Amy Adams was cast. Anyway...

I don't think being in Iron Man 3 necessarily rules Rebecca Hall out. It might, but she isn't playing a superhero or a character that would don a costume (at least not if they follow the comics). And with so many other characters in that movie, my guess is her role, while surely substantial, won't be huge.

Gemma, well yeah, if you're basing it off of Prince of Persia or Crap of the Titans, I could understand why you wouldn't be impressed with her. But check her out in The Disappearance of Alice Creed and I think you'll see that she's a good actress. Though I'll admit, I'm not totally convinced she's right for Wonder Woman either. But I'd give her the benefit of the doubt.

You're probably right, but I've seen people here suggesting Hayley Atwell, Richard Armitage, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Jaimie Alexander for various characters, so you know...
