Moonrise Kingdom was pretty great. Also good: The Illusionist, The Painted Veil, and he was a fine Bruce Banner. I don't think he feels bad about that.

I'd love to see Edward Norton in a Christopher Nolan joint.

Ed Norton was great in Kingdom of Heaven but I think that's the last great thing he did (talking about the Directors Cut, of course.)

I will always remember Norton for American History X. Easily one of my faves.

Hmm better case scenario it will be knocking out shrek 2 for 7th. Two bat film in the top 10 domestic says a lot about the impact of the character.

I called it. Sunday Update (#2): Warner Bros. estimates that The Dark Knight Rises will gross $34.2 million internationally this weekend, bringing its overseas total to $445.3 million. Rises is now pacing 28% ahead of The Dark Knight using 2008 exchange rates at the same point in time and 46% ahead at current exchange rates.

Wow. Judging from overseas numbers and reception to the film, and following the logic of how great it would've done here if not for the shooting, there's a pretty good chance we'd already be looking at a billion, or close to.

It's on pace for a billion regardless. And it still has a China and Italy release.

That would be a great achievement and fitting end to the trilogy.
