i hate that rendition of flash's costume.

i hate the New 52 version.

too many lines. Flash's costume should be friction-less.

Yeah, if theres one superhero movie suit I think you should keep simple it would be the flash costume. His suit should just be something athletes use. And he should just wear yellow sneakers.

His mask can just be a combination of the hoodie that iceskating suits also have and a pair of goggles. I would hate an armored or neon suit on the Flash.

the "classic" version looks a little dated. Just check the 90s tv show

Basically this. Its not very complicated. Which is why there isnt a need for a lead in film.

Good thing I'm not the only one who feels that flash doesn't need his own film

It's a relic of it's Batman 89 influenced time, but I actually still like the tv show Flash outfit. Probably because I found it so striking as a kid.

Sure, it has obvious flaws, but as far as design and the colors go, it's pretty great.

Yeah, I still dig this suit. IMO, it remains one of the best superhero costumes of all time. That said, I really dig the New 52 version too because it's faithful to the original, with little tweaks.

With modern materials the television show costume could definitely work.

Flash will probably receive a highly powered skin tight tech suit with a helmet (similar from those from Tron -- excluding the helmet design of course), in my opinion.

That's pretty much what I've been thinking, I think the wingtips on the mask will be gone and replaced in favour with something that would be shaped closer to a speed ski helmet.

And a big HELL NO to Cooper and LaBeef as Barry or Wally. Two of the worst possible picks for the role, for me. Seriously, I detest both of them.

That's a real possibility. It happened to Captain America already. I don't see the wingtips making it into the final design.

Yeah, I doubt The Flash's helmet will be depend on a single strand of fabric material too. I see modified racing or ski helmet being utilized.

I wouldn't mind bringing Adam Brody back.

Adam Brody actually isn't bad casting. I personally like NPH for Barry. I also really think Jay Harrington, star of Better Off Ted could rock the roll pretty well.

I hope they can do something creative and striking and not just give us the 90s TV suit. But ofcourse not something too bizarre.
I would like Flash as a spin off. Because he has a very simple origin and I dont see a need to just make a lead in for the sake of it. But a Flash movie would be interesting. Would love to see Gorilla Grodd and Captain Cold.

i loved this show, and the suit.

it could work today only if SLIMMED wayyyy down. There's no reason for Flash to be so top heavy.
