I don't think the Lakers will win 50 games this year. It's amazing how many people are being blamed and Anubis is right, this is on Buss but what is the common denominator on the court? Yep! That guy! He just told Pau to adjust but I'd love to see him say that when Nash comes back and he and Pau work that pick n roll. I honestly don't get what Dantoni is thinking saying he has no use for Pau. He and Nash are probably a better combo than Kobe and Dwight......on the court anyway. Off the court between Dwight's wishy washy ways and Kobe's infidelity and rape case........these dudes were made for tv.

Interesting. So you believe Nash returning won't make The Lakers that much more competitive whatsoever? I can see that, but not winning over 50 games. That's a bold statement.

umm... Go HAWKS!...? who are somehow not doing so bad.

I've been a huge Hawks fan all my life, as well as other ATL/Georgia teams... and for some reason...the Hawks are just not a big deal to me this year. I've only watched a couple of games this season so far... it just doesn't feel the same... i haven't missed many (less than 10) games in the past 10 years.

Meh, I think we will get a Heat/Spurs finals.... maybe Heat/Memphis... but I wont sleep on Kobe, Dwight, and Nash this early.

But anyways, my Hawks are (as usual) one piece short of being a real contender.

Beyond the historic night, it was nice to see Dwight get after Kobe a little bit. It's the most fire I've seen from him since he's been in LA but more importantly, that type of antagonistic affair is what Kobe actually respects, and Dwight was right with his beef. The more he can do that, and follow it up with his own play, the better those two will work together.

Speaking of Dwight, tonight also showed, (albeit against the...Pelicans?) when he's locked in defensively, the Lakers still have a reasonable shot to beat anybody in the postseason. Assuming, that is, they don't self-destruct before then...

Did you hear him on the radio today? He was killing the Knicks and saying they had no chance tonight, even with Melo, basically mocking them. Now I'm sure he's going to say he had there back. Also, did I hear wrong? Were there more Knick fans than there were Heat fans IN Miami?

Yeah I was at working listening to it. I like the guy a lot but he's hella hard on the Knicks. He claims he's a fan but its like he wants them to lose.
