I thought they had already said before that they would only do a game set before ME1? I could've sworn I read that in an interview...

I'm still hoping for a smaller more personal story to contrast the grandiose scheme of the original ME trilogy. Setting it against the backdrop of the Contact wars would be pretty interesting I suppose.

If we get a sequel though, I'd prefer if it was just an all new story with an all new cast of characters. I love Shep and his crew, but I'm ready to see something entirely new.

Yeah, they've done their thing and have their place in history. Time for some new blood!

To be honest I don't care if it's a sequel or prequel. But I do wanna be able to choose between different species this time.

I don't think it would be a difficult choice/change to implement. We can already play as most of the races in the multiplayer and most of them aren't that different to humans. Imagine a Volus main character though!!

The problem comes down to the amount of different voice acting you would have to record.

Just don't hire any one too overly famous ( like movie actors or actress's that have a high pay rate)voice actor wise. an up and comer or just a decent well known (who already has been doing it for year on animated series and the like)will do. and they will get more credit for making that new person better or that person/ persons that have been doing for years better known too. seriously not that hard to do.

You mean if there was a choice of more than one main character and male/female equivalents of each? If so then yes, that would need a fair amount more. I don't know how difficult recording voice acting is but it would essentially be a different person repeating all the same lines and it can possibly be done independently? Or they could make an alien male/female character the sole staple character.

It's not a price issue it's a data issue. But it could be possible on a next gen system.

I'm not sure that level of data is beyond this gen (multiple disks maybe) but yeah, the next ME will be on a next gen system & I'm sure they'll be able to handle it. If they just make an alien main character instead of a human character then there's no extra work really; it's only if they want to give multiple choices of starting character. I don't mind not having a choice as long as the new main character is awesome.

Leviathan DLC is 50% off today on Xbox for Black Friday, so you're looking at 400 MSP.

I'm going to go hit the Target, I've been told by multiple people that they are selling the $20 MSP card for $10 which basically means all of your DLC would be half off.

With that Leviathan would be $2.50 today after both savings which is a STEAL, but since I already have that I'll use it on Omega to drop the price to $7.50.

There's only three, which is disappointing.

That's a bit crap for a supposedly large DLC. Wonder what the total score from those 3 will be. Was hoping for 250 but can't imagine it's any more than 150, probably 125.

Isnt it possible that some of them are hidden?

I don't think so. If there were hidden achievements/trophies it would have shown up as 'Secret Achievement'; we just wouldn't know how to unlock them.

Zenith we're not suppose to link to video/audios that do/could contain language. You might want to remove that.

Yeah i remember what one of the admins said,as a rule I thought he said we were supposed to put up warnings though . Especially since this is EPD.tv/RotR's actually doing the warning and not really me in this.

Oh and seeing there are bunch of giant bomb's links on occasion with out those warnings and you know how they get on their own pod casts and videos shows with their quick look depends on times though) I thought it would be ok then, rather then for some one to randomly find out.

I know. I'll apologize to the admin if it is indeed too much and if they did indeed go to far according to the rules that admin set up.

But this is the first we've heard from the former heads of Bio ware and will most likely be the most honest will hear from them.

I just remember people saying the same thing about MGS4 when the trophies were initially revealed bc there were so few. Of course when the patch update came, most of them were secret and thus werent known ahead of time

Perhaps, Xbox achievements don't work like that; BUT the Trophies are the only things revealed so far, so you could be right.

It is not allowed to post the uncensored F word on the Hype in any form.

Posting a warning that your link is to uncensored cursing is like calling the bank an hour before you rob it to tell them you are coming so that they will not be surprised by the action......

yes I under stand that Mr. Admin C. LEE I just put it up cause it was to finally hear from the founder of Bioware on why he left and where he thought the industry was going. oh and BTW that was a warning they put up and not me as you saw your self since you listened to the pod cast for a bit before being turned off.

I do respect and under the rules that have been set. But I felt that was something that needed to have been put up just to hear from the founder of that studio him self, on what the real deal was ,and I do under the reason it was taken down.

I did listen to it my self twice I do feel that their swearing isn't needed at all at times. But they been fallowing what giant bomb and few place's like GT( man if you saw their Episode this weekend on line on invisible walls) have been doing of late and for some reason.

That seems to be an into thing that certain listeners love to hear(as certain people talk that way them selves)or watch or so they think. As Vic him self stated on tv last month he's a fan of the former other video game podcast that giant bomb does and seems to have been influenced by it. Even though he's been on longer then them(tv and online wise) then again it possible that they talk like when their not on air(mostly his co-host scott but who knows)

please under stand though I'm not excusing( their behavior of it) it though. I'm just happy he shows more tact on his video made review shows and interviews made for tv or not.

Any way there's my reasoning and the other part of it was on to clear up that the Doctor of bioware that was on their pod cast that founded it said him self to set the record strait ,that he left bioware cause of a change in passion in him self along with his business partner and it had nothing to do about being dis heartened about complaints from fans from fans or some fight with their parent company EA and he got tired and left the video game industry for it . As he said his new passion is beer now. And it most likely will not be said any where else as he already moved on to that new passion.

My apologies.
