even if I don't seen that soon, I need to watch Memento again soon (it's been YEARS). Recently watched/rewatched all the Nolan Batman films and The Prestige, and my wife kept Inception on a fairly steady loop for a while when she DVR'd it and played it any time there was nothing else on she wanted to watch, so I need to revisit Memento and see Insomnia.

I need to revisit Memento, but I remember finding it one of Nolan's strongest movies. And I personally thought Insomnia was great. Still don't care much for The Prestige.

The more I watch The Prestige the more I like it.
At first glance it doesn't seem like it, but it really is an emotionally powerful, sad, and moving piece.

The PRestige I thought was good. But it was my least favorite Nolan film.

Ah, but that would make people think I liked it 8th best when I didn't really like it at all.

The Prestige is good but IMO is the most cold and cerebral Nolan film.
Inception is more tragic and poignant, IMO.

I'm probably in the minority (and it's definitely unpopular), but I didn't think Inception was as great as many say it is. Just my opinion, but it's not my favorite Nolan work.

I think what made The Prestige seem cold was simply the overall explaination of Bale's character.
Jackman's story was very emotional, IMO.

My favorite Nolan line comes from The Prestige. "See, sacrifice, Robert. That's the price of a good trick."

For all the complexities of the world of dreams the movie presents, I think Inception is very well executed, even if you like the movie or not.

I think it goes beyond even that; I was infinitely impressed in the totality of Inception's production. From its cinematography, to art design, to costuming...it's one of the most "complete" movies I've ever seen.

Oh, yes, that's for sure. The special effects were different from what we're used to see on the screen.

It is often referred as a low point for Ridley Scott, but I enjoyed a lot the movie "A Good Year".
It was a nice romantic comedy, and certainly a lot better than the ones we are used to. And the locations were just beaufitul. |

I think this will be an unpopular opinion on a superhero movie site...
My favorite Tim Burton is Big Fish, by far (it's also his last great movie, but I doubt that is unpopular).
