My favorite Tim Burton is Big Fish, by far (it's also his last great movie, but I doubt that is unpopular).
Mine's Ed Wood.

I think Ed Wood was an extremely well-done movie, and I enjoyed it when I watched it (which actually wasn't long ago), but it's not one I feel like I would have much desire to watch again.

this one is battling it out for the #2 spot with Batman and Beetlejuice. I feel like whichever I watched most recently would be my favorite, but I think I would probably give the edge to Beetlejuice overall.

I was surprised how much I liked the movie when I watched it. I can't wait for the Broadway show.

I wouldn't call it my Number One Favorite, but I do agree it's the last great movie he's made and one of the best he's ever done. There's a maturity to it and emphasis on character that a lot of his more recent work doesn't have.

I dunno, I just love Pee Wee's Big Adventure. I think it happens to be one of Burton's most profound movies he's created. I find there to be many underlying messages, with a lot of subtext attached to it. Definitely one of his best movies out there.

I've seen Pee Wee's Big Adventure for the first time a couple of months ago, and I really liked it. It doesn't feel veryBurtonian, it doesn't have that gothic feel that populates his entire catalogue. It has a lot of heart, is very sweet.
Haven't seen Ed Wood, is it good?

ed wood is great, he ditches his gothic aesthetic in favor of a 50's b movie homage. along with pee wee it's the least burtonian movie of his, that's probably why it's my favorite.

I don't like Tim Burton's films save for one. Big Fish is one of my all time favorite movies. It's also the least Burtonesque film he's done.

Actually I'd say Planet of the Apes is the least Burtonesque film he's done. But if we're talking about good movies...

It is a shame Planet of the Apes was so bad, as the actual art direction was pretty good.

I need to see Burton's Planet of The Apes again, I saw such a long time ago that I don't remember how bad it is.

Favorite Burton Movies:
Batman
Big Fish
Batman Returns
Sleepy Hollow

The make up, costuming, character designs, sets, etc. were amazing in Burton's Planet of the Apes; that's it though.

But yeah, I thought the CGI was great in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and despite people's hate for Burton's movie, the ape designs they copied from PotA kind of implies RotPotA is a prequel.

-So far this year, Liam Neeson in the Grey is the best performance I've seen. I'm sure it'll change later but for now he's the top performance

I don't think it's the best film I've seen this year (it's close), but Neeson's performance is still the best of 2012, by leaps and bounds. It is so raw, so emotionally truthful, I find it difficult to look at the screen at times. It really is that painful.

That was a pretty damn good performance but I can't wait to see DDL as Lincoln, I hope it blows my mind.

After watching it; again - I'll still say green lantern is a good movie. A great one? Nope. Perfect? Nope. But it should at least (imo) have been in the 50s-60s rating on rotten tomatoes, compared to the miserable 23%.
