I've loved him since Rome, and yeah, he's awesome on Dexter. He would also dwarf Cavill though, which would be....a different and I guess potentially interesting take on Lex, lol.

Dont really see him as Lex. He's too old looking, too big and doesnt have the right face for it, but kudos for the suggestion. He's probably a better match for Bizarro.

MCH is even shorter than cavill and still a bad ass next to RS on Dexter

They did show Lex in this capacity. He put Brianiac back together and was shown in JL and JLU as a fully capable scientist.

Seriously though, I didn't say it was a negative necessarily, I'm just saying, camera tricks aren't gonna be able to hide that Stevenson naturally has a much bigger build than Cavill, unless they go with actual visual fx. I actually wouldn't mind Lex being taller though. It could kind of feed into his mindset that he's the better and more impressive figure than Supes.

Yeah Shannon's Zod will be taller than Cavill's Superman. It doesn't look like Cavill is wearing lifts on the set pics, so I expect him to continue to be slightly over 6'.

check out the earliest set photos that shows Henry in full gear about to have a face off with Faora and Mocap man, he's wearing heels there, then when they showed him and Shannon (in clearer caps) the heels where gone, so there are points where he will appear taller

That could work pretty well

I'd still prefer it if he's already a background figure in Metropolis though, as I just think their dynamic works better if Lex is hugely powerful before Superman shows up, and his jelousy comes in part from Superman detracting from that.

I believe Lex and Lexcorp are around. But he's not in Metropolis. But we can probably be sure the events of MOS will bring him to the city, and to Superman.

Superman will probably be the main factor in his arrival.

Lex was known to be one of the "smartest persons" the world. Again, he put Brianiac back together and Brianiac chose Lex because he was smart.
