Good actor, good looking bloke, right age group, versatile, charming. Why wouldn't people suggest him? There's an unfortunately old saying that 'familiarity breeds contempt' and that certainly seems to be the case on forums at times; when a name is mentioned numerous times, people suddenly start to get turned off by it. Which is kinda unfair as it has no bearing at all on the abilities of the person in question to do a fantastic job.

There was a while back that Sam Worthington was being suggested for everything too, but at least Fassbender has great acting ability.

Cavill's name was thrown into a lot of things too : James Bond. Batman. Earlier versions of Superman. Christian Grey. and so on

This Fassbender crap is about as ridiculous as Johnny Depp being in almost every single movie that comes out...I'm so tired of that guy

Yeah there's certainly a lot of ........... ahem, female support for Cavill. And lots of them have no interest in comic book films or know he's playing Superman. My sister is one, I showed her a pic of Cavill in the Superman suit and she only knew him as the '50 shades' guy some people were talking about on Facebook.

His face has been on a few magazines already but in 100 days or less he's going to be plastered pretty much everywhere, and a lot more people know him then than they do now. A new Superman film is a big affair, and I'm sure he'll start to get a lot more film offers and such once it's released. Bale was pretty well known to film fans before Batman Begins, but once that came out he really became more of an A-lister and generally well known.

TBH, I don't even think that's a subjective opinion.

Whether she personally finds him attractive up to her, but ugly he is not. He has many if not all of the features that the majority of people judge male beauty by.
