Why wouldn't Zod be able to fly?

He may not know he can at first, but I would imagine he'd have the same powers Superman does.

He probably uses the battle armor and the spaceship/s because that's what he's used to doing as a military figure/soldier.

Then you have to go into the argument about "did Kryptonians have that power on Krypton, and when they visited other planets and what not did absorption of localized star light grant them the powers, etc.?"

Anybody ever think that maybe he in krypton orbit and that's probably a moon are another planet in the background.

If Faora is strong enough to supposedly injure Superman many times throughout their confrontations in this film and doesn't need a battle suit to aid her, while Zod does, I wonder why Zod never comes to think of her as a potential threat to himself in the sense where she could revolt/turn against him at any time due to her incredible fighting skills and strength?

That's not a battle suit, that's his military armor.We all know zod gonna fight superman at some point in that black superman suit

So obviously the armor come off when superman and zod fight are zod take it off.The black suit is underneath his armor.

Unless his battle suit looks like something that Lex would wear in the comics (Iron Monger Sized Armor); I don't know why they couldn't approach its design like how they do with Iron Man's suit where it's a mixture of actual armor pieces mixed in with a Motion Capture Suit.

And what if he does not actually need it?

People do all sorts of things they don't need to.

For all we know he is just wearing it because he thinks it looks good, until its simply more convenient to rip the useless junk off. He might even be more powerful than we realize.

That and there is always the sake of loyalty. Some women really are attracted to social psychological dominance. She might also share his vision of a perfect world.

She may also be interested in having children one day, and if she wants them to be powerful as possible, she needs another kryptonian male, of which only two exist. So she has to chose one or the other. She is already with Zod, shares his vision, and so therefor very loyal to him.

For whatever reason, Zod is likely not stressing over her potential betrayal.

The armor we seen him wearing in the trailer didn't look CGI at all.It looked practical like faora armor.

I was thinking that too actually. lol And if so, is he in a huge mother ship? I didn't see any huge windows on any of the ships in the trailer.

Exactly. But dont forget we've had people on here assuming that Superman doesnt have heat vision in MOS just because theres no heat vision in the trailers. Hell, heat vision didnt feature in S:TM but it didnt make me think he didnt have the ability. He just didnt use it in any of the situations that he found himself in.
