It's excellent. That hanging guy probably never knew what hit him.
I also love how Gordon and other policemen could barely see this black bat figure walking away. |

![]() Quirkiness can come in all sorts and varieties, and this particular one happens to be irresistable. Not sure if I can call 89 a "classic" - sure, objectively it probably is, but there was annoying stuff in it that kinda ruined the overall impression for me. Batman being unnecessarily creepy / douchey in a few scenes, Kim Basinger is too much of a "damsel" overall. The movie feels a bit "indecisive" at times in regards to its plot and tone, but obviously tons of great stuff in it nonetheless. |

I don't have anything against Batman/Bruce Wayne being a bit douchey. Unless he is expected to be like Superman with a bat suit and no superpowers.

Yep. I think Returns sucks. I think Burton got too much control and it hurt the movie. You guys can like Returns, but I really don't enjoy and I think in terms of enjoyment.
It's still a better made movie than Schumachers, though the campiness of Schumacher's movies make it at least an enjoyable comedic watch. |

Forever tried to balance camp with "serious" drama, and, well - Robin only had a few scenes of that, the rest just unapologetically crazy ****. Returns has quite a different vibe from Batman, but still it's completely committed to what it is, a dark, surreal and naughty Burton tale about lost souls in a city or whatever; 89, eh, kinda does this and then that, throws me off every time. Still cool though ![]() (And yes, this is all subjective obviously) |

There should be a way of automatically ignoring members until they have been around for six months.

And when it comes to that, I'll be able to make them references all the more - so let them come! For now though, one person is quite enough, thanks

![]() ![]() I always thought it was supposed to be "I am the night" like the line used by Conroy in TAS. Did the guy who create that photo get it wrong?

It's most definitely "night". Knight doesn't make much sense.
Couldn't find either line here. http://screenwritersutopia.com/scriptdb/media/731.html |

Yeah, it was "night." I got it was the original line because that's what Batman said in the comic adaptation.
