Doubt it'll be a reveal other than "i know this guy, and these are the things i saw on set and the info i got and these were there plans originally, etc". But who knows. Maybe he's Jonathan Nolan *spooky*

I don't know. It would be like Cillian Murphy as Bruce Wayne IMO.

Karl Urban is not a terrible choice for Batman. He is one of those pretty talented actors that just tends to be in a lot of crap films. But I would also say he might be too old at this point.

Green Arrow has his own TV show and was a main character on a show about Superman. He has been a staple of DC for a long time. Don't compare him with Judge Dredd.

Hey...Dredd has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes right now...lol. And I didn't say he was a top 5 choice but compared to some of these no name or television actors being mentioned in this thread I would MUCH rather have him because at least I know he has talent and would be curious to see him play Batman. I'm currently watching the sixth episode of Hell on Wheels...

And must say that Anson Mount as Batman rivals John Hamm. I can see an older yet strong Bruce in a kingdom come kind of story. In a mature version of the JL. God, they need to do Kingdome Come as a mini-series!

(Even Colm Meaney could pull of a KC Luthor... Kind of like Hackmans)

Back in the day of the Superman Returns who should be Superman debate...Anson Mount was a favorite of mine for Supes...ha. I actually think he looks A LOT like Henry Cavill.

I'd prefer a younger , fresh Batman to fully distinguish from the older Batman of TDKR and the Nolanverse. We've seen a middle aged Batman , its time to go back to a younger version for the reboot imo. I'd also like to see supporting characters which haven't been used or exploited much like Leslie Thompkins as a mother figuare to Bruce , which has been lacking in these films , and maybe a Female Cop who helps Batman much like in TBM animated series in this film.

As far as a villan goes , I think it really depends on which direction they wanna go. I'd like to see them go the whole Detective / crime syndicate/ Mystery/ Noir route. In that case, I'd love to see Black Mask and Reaper. Yeah, they did reaper in MOTP , but its been nearly 20 years, and I highely doubt the GA knows who the Phantasm even is , or has seen the film. Plus its a good character and you wouldn't have to have it be Andrea Beaumount as it was in BTAS. I'd have it be the same character from the original story. Plus it opens opprunities to use Joe Chill in a way he's never been used before.

This would be my dream cast

Bruce Wayne/ Batman: Sam Witwer
Alfred Pennyworth : Geoffrey Rush
Leslie Thompkins: Helen Mirren
Reaper : David Morse
Joe Chill:Robert Carlyle
Black Mask : James Frain
Detective Ellen Yin: Maggie Q
