Are you using fluid cartridges or a tank on your back for web fluid? If you are using cartridges, you will run out of fluid before you run out of gas from your co2. Maybe 2 co2 cartridges may be suitable for several cartridges of fluid. The smallest co2 cartridge that I know of (maybe there are smaller ones but I haven't done the research) are about 1.5cm in diameter and about 6 or 8 cm long. So having them around your wrist may take up a lot of space. I'm just letting you know the details that I have discovered so it doesn't mean it's impossible. Maybe you can figure out a way around this or maybe there are smaller co2 cartridges out there.

Hey 95, I thought about what you said, about the pressure and gas only coming out? You were right. Tests show you were right! I never would have thought of that.
I will use the binaca canister to store the fluid itself in, then put a hole in the bottom, and connect a needle in that hole to the hole in the top of a CO2 canister. This way, I don't have to modify my web shooter design, except a larger containment chamber for the canister. Thanks for alerting me of that, buddy! |

better that you notice it now than when you have made it! will you be using the same design as clyde but with a round canister or use a piston like my design? both should work fine but a piston is always safer! have you checked out my pics? my albums also spammed, any tips on how to remove a entire album??

Button-making pictures are taken and ready to be uploaded, but I am really swamped with AP Chem homework (curse you, lab reports), so I may not be able to upload them tonight. I will see.
However, concepts for the new canister design will be uploaded soon, as well. Stemming from 95's suggestion, I am calling it the GPM canister, short for the Gas Piston Model canister. |

Seriously, though. The only reason I wasn't sure was because this thread has to have been up for, what, 2 years? We have incredible people working on this, and we have tons of designs, ideas and formulas under our noses! Yet we're still in the prototypical stage. |

I'm not sure how to put this but....
Did you think it would be a quick project? To build a webshooter by itself wouldn't take as long as trying to build a webshooter and formula, see what I'm saying. |

I would say the reason it's taking so long for me is because I have not decided on a solid design just yet. Also like I said thrice a number of times before, I am on a low budget. I dont even really have any money. I may or may not get an after school job, but that may lead to less time on the project. Anyway, that's why I'm a little slow on this.

Hey guys, so I'm not gonna be on here as often as I use to, because I need to focus more on my grades, I'm making a power rangers samurai suit for Halloween, and I need to get back into shape. I'll still be replying and checking on this thread, just not as usual.

Update on the batteries!
They suck ass! The amperage is so low that it cant even heat up 2 cm of wire! A 9V battery or 11.1 lipo is what I will have to go with! |

I myself will be using N cells..
Guys, I am super swamped with homework, and won't be able to be on as much. However, I will be able to still upload pics (my button ones are long overdue), but don't get discouraged. I am not going to leave this by a long shot. |
