OFF TOPIC but I see people talking about PayPal having their back so....
I purchased the Sex And The City DVD Gift Set as a Christmas present. The title and photo showed it as the gift set and so did the disruption. It also said it was released in 2005. I paid $43 for it. It comes in the mail and it is all if the seasons packaged individually. Some as old as from 2001. It was NOT the Gift Set! And the cases were cracked to boot! I messages the seller and they said send it back and try will refund me. I told them I wanted them to pay me back the shipping costs as well since they knowingly sold me an item with a faulty auction photo/description. She replied back that she would only refund me the $43 because it was in fact the whole season and because it wasn't exactly what she had listed "is the risk we take when buying and selling things online" So now I am pissed and Ido t know what to do? Should I suck it up and be happy to have the $43 back even though I'm going to have to pay to ship it back? Do I file a claim with PayPal/eBay to ensure nothing shady happens? Is there a way to send it back with out cost? My mom said to put "return to sender" on the package. But I'm worried that she (the seller) could jut say that I never sent it back... Any advice? I'm pretty new to eBay/PayPal! |

But if the item description was totally misleading, I would file a claim with eBay. There should be a function to do that near the item you bought in your item summary.

Does anyone have any idea why the Joker as Gotham City Thug is so cheap and readily available all of the sudden? Is it really just the Dark Knight craze running down? That seems too quick to me.
I have one MOC and have had it since the release, but I'm considering getting another to open and I'm very curious as to why such a huge price drop all of the sudden.... Either way, glad to see that everyone has been able to get one at a reasonable price in order to complete their collections. I know a lot of folks who were missing just that one so it's good to see. |

DEFINITELY file a claim through eBay or PayPal. You will get your money back as long as it hasn't been longer than 45 days since you paid. Even if it becomes an issue with the coverage of shipping, PayPal will issue you a return slip that you can use to return the item on their dime. PayPal is awesome if you're a buyer! Just sucks complete ass if you're a seller.

Gold Samurai was able to rig one using a button cell battery and an LED light. You could ask them.

OMG I've been looking everywhere for this one, and now its so readily available. I wonder why, surely the demands are still high for this since they stopped making it back in '08.

It seems like somebody finally realized they had a humungous stock of these (they were NOT rare back in '08, and rotted on mattycollector.com for months).

Movie Masters distribution sucks, but you all knew that already. Just confirmed with friend in Ohio. She works at Toys R Us. There are Alfreds! None on the left coast. BoooOOOoooo!

It seems like there really are no rare figures, except for the OG chases.
Speaking of which.....anybody got a regular BB Bats? I already have the ghoul, and passed on the regular for years, and am now regretting it. :/

Sent you a pm Tobuscus. Good to see Joker as thug coming down in price. That's a relief, and I'm really starting to think something is up with amazon offering them at a reasonable price too. Are we missing something ladies and gentlemen?
