That's awful beyond words. Pierce Brosnan is a really great guy. He doesn't deserve this and his daughter didn't deserve this. I hope he can find some solace, but it's almost impossible to recover from the loss of a child.

EDIT: Reading a bit more, I'm glad she had children. That lessens the blow a bit if you know she lives on in her children. It's also good Pierce has other children to comfort him during this time.

Well, I don't think any father would deserve it technically, but I know what you're saying though. Thoughts are with the man.

Yeah, I could have worded it better. No one deserves to lose a child of course (unless your child is King Joffrey). But it really makes me feel for the guy he has to go through this TWICE, first with his wife and now his daughter.

Aww that sucks man. He was a martial arts icon.

R.I.P Mr. Kelly. He was amazing in Enter the Dragon.

It's bittersweet to think that her want of children could have made it worse. The only way to prevent it is to have your ovaries removed, but then you can't have children aside from surrogacy (if you have your eggs frozen) or adoption.

If I were her daughter, I'd get my eggs frozen and ovaries taken out when I turn 30. I wouldn't risk it. Early 40s is too young. Far too young. And when her great-grandmother, grandmother, AND mother have died from it, her body is just a ticking time bomb.

This is just so sad. No parent should bury their child. And no child should bury their parents when they're only in their teens.

Very sad to hear of Pierce Brosnan's daughter passing away because he seems like such a nice, down to earth person. Also saddened by the loss of Jim Kelly. RIP both.

My God. Usually, I'm not legitimately saddened by a celebrity death, but I really do feel for Pierce Brosnan. I once watched his episode of Biography and became a fan of his ever since. It is so unfortunate that he not only lost his wife to this disease but his daughter as well.

Not a celeb in the usual sense...but someone important to the world of superheros has passed....

Len Leone, the art director for Bantam books from 1955 to 1984 has passed away. http://www.thepulp.net/yellowedperil...one-1921-2013/ Len was one of the major factors in Bantam acquiring the rights to Doc Savage and republishing them in the 60's. He personally designed the waving flag look to the Doc Savage name on the books covers, hired James Bama to do the covers, and instructed Bama on the distinctive look that the character is known by today. Rest in peace Mr. Leone.....you helped to bring the greatest superhero in the history of the world to my attention....I will be forever grateful.

A nice article on him from a couple of years ago http://www.thepulp.net/pulp-info/pul...les/len-leone/

RIP Brosnan's daughter. What a horrible tragedy. I hope he can surround himself with support and kind hearted people to help him through these tough times.

I enjoyed Jim Kelly's performance in Enter The Dragon and I was lucky enough to meet him and John Saxon at a convention in Los Angeles last year. Unfortunately, he was more interested in making a quick buck rather than engage in conversation with fans. Not the last memory I wanted to have of him.

That has to be a very difficult situation for Brosnan, especially considering he lost his wife to the exact same thing.

Also for her children, of course.

Truth. I am never really affected when a big celebrity dies because it's all so separate, but Ryan's constant presence in my life through the disgusting amount of content I've consumed from Giant Bomb over the years made this a sad day.

Agreed. Apparently, his death was the subject of an internet hoax earlier this week, but this seems to be legit.

I can't even believe it... RIP.

Every interview I saw of him made him seem like such a nice, funny guy. This is a real loss.

He talked about his substance abuse problems and just recently got help after a relaspe. I hope it wasn't suicide.

I'm in shock. He's gone way too soon
I'm a "gleek", but the series has definitely ended for me.

Rest in Peace, Cory Monteith.
