Actor Leo O’Brien from ‘The Last Dragon’ Found Dead

by blackthespian on October 11, 2012
in For Real?

We’ve received tragic news that actor Leo O’Brien, one of the stars of the 1985 cult classic film The Last Dragon, died yesterday in New York City. Leo played Bruce Leroy’s little brother Richie Green in the film.
Details surrounding O’Brien’s death are not clear at this time but law enforcement officials say the actor passed away Wednesday morning, and an autopsy is scheduled for today.
Leo’s “Dragon” co-star Taimak (Bruce Leroy) says family members believe O’Brien had been in failing health recently.
He was 41.
O’Brien also survived two gunshot wounds just over a year ago in Harlem. Police arrested a suspect who was charged with attempted murder.

Gary Collins passed away a few days ago...

I remember him as parapsychology investigator Dr. Michael Rhodes from the old Sixth Sense TV series back in the early 70's...

he was also married to Mary Ann Mobley...

RIP

I don't know if anyone knows much about Led Zeppelin, but..

This is the greatest man to ever sit behind the kit, he passed September 25, 1980, and he is my biggest influence as a drummer. Not sure if he qualifies for this thread, but I saw a RIP thread for celebrities, so I needed to contribute this out of respect for John Bonham.

RIP Bonzo
